"Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these other things (safety in the storm, etc.) will be given unto you." A rosary crusade was in order. Too bad no one called for it. Sure, board up the windows and fill all available jugs with water, but don't leave God out of the picture.
At least one bishop had the sense to call for prayer. I don't know much about him except he has a brother bishop in Savannah who is carrying water for the anti-TLM Vatican and is very tall. You can read about him here. At least he had the sense to publicly pray.
And now, shall we all offer a rosary today for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Florida. And here's a prayer to Our Lady of Prompt Succor:
"Why Aren't All the Bishops of Florida Calling for Prayer?"
ReplyDeleteMaybe because they don't really believe in God?
For myself, prayer is what I run to when I need help or want to say something to Jesus, Mary, my Guardian Angel. I often get asked by agnostics (at best) to pray for an outcome or for a particular person. I usually just say "will add to my daily rosary intention".
I guess fundamentally if you dont think an action will help, you dont do it. So, you can draw your own conclusions... which I have...
Because they're all getting ready to blame climate change, carbon footprints, etc?
DeleteFor the same reason no bishop prayed against the 'covid' planned-demic. In centuries past, bishops would hold processions and call for prayer and fasting. Not one did that I can recall.
