The second, particularly, emphasizes how mass formation puts people into an almost hypnotic state. The totalitarians were so successful, we are likely to see more fear-mongering. They use it to convince people that the collective is more important than the individual. You need to give up your freedom for the sake of the group, they say. But it's really about giving up your freedom for the sake of the slave master. We are all cogs in the totalitarian machine. They want us enslaved, but we can stop them by speaking out and banding together to defend the truth. Ora et labora!
