When I use the term liberalism and liberal, this is what I mean.

Since I often discuss liberalism which undergirds the nature of liberals, I think it might be helpful to define terms and explain exactly what liberalism is. Socrates often began his dialogues by defining terms. How can people have an intelligent discussion if they aren't using words in the same way? They can end up arguing with Humpty Dumpty who says, "When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean- neither more nor less." Unfortunately, many liberals follow Humpty Dumpty's rules of engagement which is a ticket to the Tower of Babel. To use a silly example, suppose an alien landed in Washington, D.C. and someone told him that the first Catholic president, JFK, was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Imagine the confusion going forward. But that's often true when people use language in contrary ways.

Liberals have always loved their kings (and messiahs). They actually mourn when their kings are defeated in political battle. I remember my liberal, pro-choice aunt crying when George W. Bush was elected. I voted for him, but was no big fan. He was never the brightest bulb in the presidential lightbulb box. When she told me how devastated she was, I shrugged, told her my candidates rarely won and I was never upset. Why not? Because I put my trust in the King of Kings not men. There are plenty of real things to mourn. Your candidate losing an election is not one of them.

Any citizens who vote for the Democrats these days should realize they are putting themselves and the country in danger. Let's look at just a few ways the Democrats violated the constitutional rights of the American people while they were in office -- not just their political enemies, but anyone more conservative than their pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-trans, pro-Marxist base.

The Democrats couldn't care less about the American people. They care about their own power and their extremist base who support baby killing, mutilation of children, murder of the elderly and incapacitated, the rights of criminals over their victims, etc. 

Can the American people support 1.5 million in new funding? How are you doing paying your bills right now? It sure is easy to spend other people's money, especially when you have millions in your own bank account.

The Democrats are liars and manipulators. Call or write your senators to stop the shutdown!

I got this MSNBC video of the GOP press conference today onYouTube. The Democrats own the shutdown. May it come back to bite them! Note the comments, obviously primarily from liberal Democrats. Many mention Trump and the Epstein files. Now we don't really know what's in those files about Trump, but we know a lot about the connection of Bill Clinton and Epstein. 

Tough Love and the Upcoming Election

How many parents are still supporting adult children? Are you nodding and saying, "Been there; done that?" How many sons and daughters earned diplomas you paid tens of thousands for and then end up living at home letting Mom and Dad foot their rent, utilities, food, and even babysitting expenses?

At the same time, how many of those college-educated freeloaders think Mom and Dad are dinosaurs who know nothing about how to make the world a better place, in fact, by creating the liberal Utopia promised by the Democrats?

Becky Pringle, President of the National Education Association (NEA) is a lunatic! She heads one of the most lunatic bureaucracies in the country! Their agenda includes rabid support for abortion (killing future students) and for LGBTQ insanity. They see conservative parents as the enemy and do everything they can to separate kids from their families to the point that some teachers take girls for abortion without parental consent or encourage students to engage in transgender activity. Some schools even have a "transition closet"  where kids can change into clothing to play let's pretend I'm the opposite sex. This is not just one school. They are popping up around the country! (See here and here) The NEA wants parents out of the equation. They believe they own your children! They oppose school vouchers because that gives parents choice in education. Currently, those who opt out of the public system pay twice for the "privilege" of protecting their children from insanity.

Give Me an Honest Atheist Any Day Over a Lying Liberal Catholic!

While I was looking for a post I wrote on After the Ball a few years ago, (The book by Kirk and Madsen outlining the strategy to normalize homosexuality and demonize those against it), I came across an old post that I thought was worth repeating. Its title? Give me an Honest Atheist Any Day Over a Lying, Liberal Catholic I wrote it in 2013, but could have written it this morning. I think you'll agree. Sad to say, I know many "lying, liberal Catholics" and some lying, liberal former Catholics. Some of them are so steeped in self delusion that I don't think they realize they are lying to themselves as well as others. That might be the most dangerous form of lying. Steeped in propaganda (They've swallowed the camel.), they seem to be true believers even about things that are obviously absurd -- like believing a man can give birth. Only real women and faux men, i.e., biological women playing dress up, can give birth.  But among liberals the degree of self delusion also known as insanity is endless!

The crux of the matter is the divide between true liberty that frees man to know, love, and serve God versus license that enslaves man to his lower passions transforming him into a creature more like a beast than a human. The challenge for Catholics is to help save souls by waking up as many beasts as possible enabling them to cast off their slavery to sin and embrace truth and virtue and thereby become “free” in the true sense.

Susan and I have been chatting lately about starting our own little series called The 
Flashlight. 

Why the flashlight? 

Well, first of all, we can't afford a spotlight. We don't have a green room or whatever they call that green screen that can be used to put up any background. We don't have fancy cameras and videographers to create Hollywood style programming. We're just a couple of women with a blog.

While we lack fancy equipment, we do have pencils, keyboards, and .... flashlights! I even have a cute little lantern I got at an anniversary party that provides the Biblical equivalent of the little bowl of oil with a wick that lights about one step.

Sunday Meditation: The Mask is Off!

Evil is so eager to spread itself that it ends up consuming itself in its zeal for blood. Think of the guru of the French Revolution, Robespierre, who ended up losing his head to Madame Guillotine after orchestrating the murder of hundreds of thousands including about 170,000 Catholic martyrs of the Vendee. Hopefully, we are seeing the beginning of that same self-immolation beginning in our country.

The past two years have torn the mask off liberalism. While many still buy the lie of COVID tyranny, others have awakened and are pushing back. The airline employees who grounded hundreds of flights by refusing the vax mandates forced their CEOs to rethink the policy. The same with the trash workers in New York who tossed refuse over the fence at DeBlasio's mansion. How long will citizens tolerate the stench of garbage in their neighborhoods, a metaphor for the garbage occupying their government?

Did you see the letter that's going viral? It's all over the internet and the Fact or Fiction site confirmed its correct attribution. We never joined AARP because I checked it out and we saw it was a liberal shill from the beginning. We joined AMAC instead (Association of Mature American Citizens). AMAC is pushing back against critical race theory. They oppose Social Security for illegal aliens, support securing the vote by disallowing vote machines that connect to the internet, oppose the Green New Deal and many other evil designs liberals plan for us. Check out AMAC and ditch the AARP. And when you do, how about sending AARP a letter as well! It doesn't have to be long -- You can just affirm your agreement with the Millers. In fact think of the impact of AARP getting 50,000 postcards that say "Ditto! I agree with the Millers and I'm not renewing my membership. Be sure to recycle this postcard!"

It's time to burn down the liberals' echo chambers. AARP is a good place to start!
