Smart phones that track your every move,
Family crises and health problems,
Rudeness everywhere,
Riots for any reason,
Bad news in the media,
Media ignoring anything moral (like the March for Marriage),
Cold spring weather (Send me some global warming!),
(Sigh!)
Thankful for another day in the vale of tears offering it all up for family and friends. God bless you today!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are down in the dumps, but just to let you know that your blog is the first one I go to, the media in the UK are much the same as in the USA, the weather here in Orkney has been freezing, but like you we have so many blessings to thank God for. Think of it, the sun will soon shine, and we will warm up and cheer up, and even the world will smile again!
I certainly feel the same as you do. Your list is my list… If you need a break from blogging, pls do.
ReplyDeleteIt’s important to take care of yourself, too. Eat well/diet and exercise. I’m 54 and I still run (well… jog slowly) 3 or 4 times per week despite painful knees. I’m blessed in central cali (despite the drought) with great weather. I’ve put all of my spring garden in. Nothing better than the smell of tomato plants, IMO. I’m going to try making strawberry wine this week end too. I can’t abide the interwebz anymore. I made the mistake of listening in to the press meeting of the mayor of Baltimore. She is a fool.
So… do what you can to feel better. But, as always trust in the Lord. Live a sacramental life. Order your life to God, Family and Country. Pray for someone who needs it. Be nice to someone who needs it.
