The MSM's Hurricane Fearmongering Porn Has Consequences

Not what my chart indicated!

As a Floridian who's lived through countless hurricanes since the age of three here're a few tips for the next time a hurricane arrives. Keep in mind that people living in hurricane zones constantly plan updates to their homes to deflect damage should a hurricane directly hit their area. They also normally already have ample hurricane supplies on hand.

1 - THE PROBLEM

The number one tip - almost always the first rule on every list of life - is never listen to the MSM's fearmongering porn.

 a) While the storm approaches, the MSM whips people into fear and anxiety (fear porn) thereby sending them on frenzied shopping trips buying weeks of food supplies (a hurricane passes in a few hours) and $1,000 generators for their homes (electric companies are on the road the minute a hurricane passes).

b) While the storm is above us the MSM are hysterically hypothesizing (more fear porn) on possibilities of potential catastrophes, numbers of people who could be killed, areas which could be underwater and telling people to stay indoors while they're outside in the wind with tin roofs flying by reporting to others to not do that. A normal person should never listen to anyone that ignorant because a normal person knows not to stand in hurricane winds among flying objects.

c) After the storm has passed and returned to the ocean the MSM continues to screech out the dangers (even more fear porn) of fallen wires, empty grocery shelves and the future threat to coastal areas with more fear porn for the people ahead.

2 - THE SOLUTION

So a hurricane is on the way. If you're in a danger zone, evacuate to safety. Otherwise...

a) Turn off the TV.

b) Buy a few extra packs of water. Gas up the car. Get bread and a few cans of tuna then lay out your child's old 5th grade Hurricane Tracking Chart on the table along with an erasable marker.

c) Go to the National Hurricane Center's website, click on the round red circle that is the current hurricane to find the longitude and latitude coordinates of its current position. Mark this with a dot on the chart.

d) Repeat this exercise each time the Hurricane Center posts updates.

e) Soon you'll be able to see the hurricane's ACTUAL path, where it's TRULY been, where it REALLY is at the moment and the direction it seems to be taking.

For the past three days the MSM had people in our area whipped into frenzied activity spending thousands of dollars on hurricane supplies, propane, generators, gas cans, flashlights, batteries and food. People waited until the last minute to buy supplies that, in the end, they didn't need since the hurricane went far south of us.

Meanwhile, the people in the areas south of us where Ian did hit might not have been as well prepared since the MSM reported that the hurricane would not travel over their area. I pray that they were prepared.

People on either coasts are always prepared - or they should be considering where they've chosen to live - and the infrastructure in those areas has been planned for hurricanes. However a hurricane is a hurricane, so always be as prepared as possible and never listen to the MSM's fear porn.
