Have You Heard of PCHETA? It's the death hastening "palliative care" bill. (Part 1)

PCHETA (Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training Act (S. 2243, previously introduced in the House in 2019 as H.R. 647), is the death peddlers kill bill. We need to oppose it!

Why?

Palliative care used to be patient focused -- to help patients with chronic or terminal illnesses live as fully as possible until natural death. Often, patients assisted with palliative remedies from their primary physicians lived comfortably and fruitfully for years. They were encouraged to enjoy their families, have a positive outlook, and continue to participate in activities as much as they could. It wasn't about using every possible extraordinary means to prolong life, but to treat illnesses and offer pain relief when necessary.

From the GOOD GRIEF! Gay Food File

Deep six those oreos!
Too many bad connotations.
You know the old expression about ramming something down a person's throat? Well it's happening literally these days with some food companies who prefer to put their political agenda ahead of corporate well-being.

I could never eat any of these things listed below now that they've been associated with the homosexual agenda that includes all kinds of perverted practices. What would you be thinking as you eat that dark brown oreo or swallow that yellow beer?

Hmmm?

As for Fruit Loops? Well, they should add nuts to the recipe so the fruits and nuts can all be in the same place!

Here are some foods to skip next time you go to the grocery store.
Oreos and other Nabisco products -- Really? Oreos is pushing gender fluid pronouns by giving free cookies to teachers willing to brainwash kids? (I'm taking all Nabisco products off my list!)

I Set Before You Life and Death....

The forces of death in our culture become ever bolder. Who can see people like Andrew Cuomo and Ralph Northam and others of their ilk fight for the right to murder children up to and even after birth and not be horrified? And seeing so many echo their evil makes one think of the screaming mobs at the annual Nazi Nuremberg rallies. The victims of our modern culture of death’s satanic human sacrifice may be smaller, but their murders are no less horrifying.

New York Introduces Bill to Break the Seal of Confession

The New York General Assembly's Standing Committee on Children and Families is considering a bill, AO6662, that would destroy the sacred bond between a confessor and the penitent. While the bill is limited to cases of child abuse, this is the camel's nose in the tent. Why should a priest not be required to report any serious breach of the law: murder, rape, embezzlement, etc.?

Glamorizing Suicide and its “Seductive Appeal”

Living in a culture of death with all its ugly trappings can tempt us to sink into what John Bunyon, in his allegory The Pilgrim’s Progress, called the “slough of despond” or what others describe as the swamp of sadness and despair. Abortion, euthanasia, suicide (including assisted suicide), and all the other depressing moral evils of our day dance around humanity pounding us with the message that life is meaningless and not worth living. It is, of course, a lie, but one that seduces many souls already fighting mental illness, guilt, depression, or hopelessness.

One sad sign of the state of the culture, is the increasing number of suicides, particularly among the young. A leading cause of death in those 15 to 29 is suicide. Young women attempt it more often, but young men more often succeed as did my precious 18-year-old grandson who killed himself on May 2nd.

We have our own Alder Hey Hospital in Ohio -- Twin Boys Just Weren't Worth Saving at Riverside in Columbus, Ohio!

It's important to realize that babies as little as this have survived and that 22 week babies often do if they are treated aggressively. But in the culture of death life is cheap so the twins, even the larger and stronger, were simply abandoned. Like Alfie Evans and Charlie Gard in the UK, they weren't worth the effort despite the hospital's own policy to treat babies born at 22 weeks five days.

Age Is Supposed to Bring Wisdom, but These Grandmothers Champion Murder!

O most pernicious woman
O villain, villain, smiling, damned villain!
My tales, -- meet it is I set down
That one may smile, and smile, and be a villain;
At least I'm sure it may be so in [Maine].
Hamlet Act 1 scene 5
Grandmas for Abortion

The acronym of these grandmothers from Maine is GRR (Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights) and all I can say is it's an insult to animals that go "grr...."

I remember a squirrel who carefully moved her babies from a tree we were cutting down at our old house. She very methodically carried each tiny bundle of fur down the tree in her mouth and relocated them to a safe place. What a good mother! Rescuing them from the treecutter's axe.

I've often watched small birds attack a bigger bird threatening their nest.

And we all know how dangerous it is to get between a mama bear and her cubs.

No, these women don't even have the hearts of a squirrel or a bunny rabbit. The abortionist is their ally as they champion the murder of their own offspring. They have the heart of Medea who, after murdering her brother and her father, murdered her children to revenge Jason for his infidelity. An evil woman is an appalling thing.

So Now It's Starvation for Alfie. He Just Refuses to Die Fast Enough for the Modern Dr. Mengeles!

Tom Evans earlier today. He continues to fight for Alfie.
We've seen dehydration and starvation used many times to kill people whose lives are considered not worth living. Often it's combined with the morphine drip. This is the new "palliative care" to make sure people die and die relatively quickly.

Watch Tom Evans speak about what they are doing to his little son.

This is barbaric! These "doctors" put one in mind of Dr. Mengele.

Why are they so determined that this little boy die? He has no brain left the doctors say.

Canada's Looking More Like Pagan Rome These Days: But Remember, Christ is King

Sorry, babies, you didn't pass the test.
Canada Legalizes Euthanasia So Parents Can Kill Disabled Children

The law of pater familias in ancient Rome allowed the male head of the family to make all the decisions, even life or death, over the members of the family. Under that law, many babies were exposed on the hills around Rome if they were sick or the "wrong" sex (i.e. girls) or Daddy just didn't want 'em. Today, it's pater or mater familias and the death culture is growing and expanding exponentially to include the already born for any reason or no reason.

"Novel" Thoughts after Adoration: and the Second Letter of St. Peter

What novel are you living in?
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness. . . ." A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
Sometimes I think we are living in a novel. Dickens' story of the French Revolution certainly applies to our age of "enlightened" evil that recognizes 50 or 60 alternative "genders" and promotes the murder of the vulnerable while championing the rights of trees and bugs. Calling our time the "age of foolishness" hardly encompasses the idiocy.

Are You a Doctor or Do You Know a Doctor Who Will Help Freddie?

Freddie Lempe is being denied treatment.
Another move by the culture of death to kill off a useless eater to save money. Read about Freddie Lempe's case here. WakeMed has adopted a policy of neglect. They are in North Carolina. If you know a pulmonary doctor who might help, please contact helpfreddie@pray4freddie.org. This young man was improving when they decided to stop treating. That halted his improvement. It's the same M.O. that happened with Hugh Finn and Terri Schiavo before medical facilities withdrew food and water, thereby starving and dehydrating them to death. Is that the next step for Freddie?

How Progressives Stack the Deck in the "Game" of Life and Death

Do you ever feel like you’re being gamed? I remember back in the 1970s. The media lived in the pockets of the pro-aborts. Trying to get a fair shake for the babies was harder than selling ice at the North Pole. Pro-aborts got pages of press filled with horror stories about illegal coat-hanger abortions despite the fact that most “back alley” abortionists were doctors and were very careful not to botch the abortion: they would lose their licenses. Liars at Compassion and Choices Steal Names for Pro-Euthanasia Petition

Were you among the duped? If you signed a card to Brittany, you better check.

To read more about this go here.

Consider that this is not all that surprising from the pro-death crowd. Women are lied to in order to get them to abort their babies. Women are lied to in order to convince them to sell their eggs for various purposes. People are lied to about the ineffectiveness of embryonic stem cell research to convince them to get behind it. You name it and the pro-death crowd are lying about it. Those who are willing to kill sure won't blink at lying. The culture of death comes straight out of hell and its CEO's resume says he was a liar and a murderer from the beginning.

And We Wonder Why Our Culture is More Violent?

What do you think about a game that has players competing to see who can wipe out all people on the earth? Here's a description of this sick "game."
Twisted? Yes. Addicting? Also yes.
The mobile game Plague Inc. takes the whole civilization-building thing in the other direction: the goal is to wipe out all humans on Earth before a cure can be researched.

One More Stem Cell Success Without Cannibalizing a Baby

Embryonic stem cell research is a waste of money as well as a killer. The successes coming about from use of stem cells involve collecting them from the patient himself or use of adult stem cells. Embryonic stem cell research shows no promise for most diseases: breast cancerParkinson, or much of anything else.

Why the big rage for ESC research. What makes the world go round? MONEY! If I get a treatment using my own stem cells, they are mine and there's no charge to use them. But if universities and research centers and big pharma can patent embryonic stem cell lines -- voila -- the cash cow.  So don't kid yourself. ESC research is not about helping people. It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Which is the motivation behind most of those immersed in the culture of death. Abortionists don't care about women as Kermit Gosnell, Leroy Carhart, Lois Turner, Douglas Karpan, Warren Hern, etc. amply illustrate. It's all about the money. And it's big money indeed. Here's the fee schedule from one abortion mill along with their payment policy. No personal checks -- just like your doctor and your dentist right?:
Surgical Abortion Services:
4 - 14 weeks & 6 days $400.00
15 - 16 weeks $800.00
16 weeks & 1 day - 17 weeks $950.00
17 weeks & 1 day - 18 weeks $1,150.00
18 weeks & 1 day - 19 weeks $1,600.00
19 weeks & 1 day - 20 weeks $1,800.00
20 weeks & 1 day - 21 weeks $2,000.00
21 weeks & 1 day - 22 weeks $2,200.00
• We accept cash, money orders, credit cards (Visa® | MasterCard® | Discover® | American Express®) and ATM cards (when used as a credit card) if the cardholder is present to sign for charges. We do not accept personal checks.
It's interesting to note that, while this abortion mill talks about how qualified their physicians are, they don't identify any. So there's no way a prospective patient could check up on the doc. Hmmm....let the buyer beware.

And thinking back about stem cells -- I wonder how many abortion mills sell the stem cells and other body parts of the babies they butcher. Aborting moms might ask for a cut of the profits to be made from killing their babies!

Cardinal Burke Calls on Individual Bishops to Preach Humanae Vitae

The root of abortion is contraception! Let me say it again. The root of abortion is contraception! The court decision that ushered in Roe v. Wade was Griswold v. Connecticut. And until Humanae Vitae is preached and preached and preached, attacking abortion is like cutting the snakes off the head of Medusa. They will grow back stronger than ever. Cardinal Burke recognizes the importance of individual bishops fighting the culture of death relentlessly. But it must include calling people back to the integrity of the sexual act itself. Contraception is a love-killing act that precedes the baby-killing act. Both need to be fought vigorously by our shepherds. Instead of giving awards to pro-abortion politicians and leaders, they need to start acting like supporting the murder of the innocent is the atrocity it really is. Cardinal Dolan (and other princes of the Church in the United States), stop honoring and kowtowing to the modern Hitlers in our midst. Hitler didn't kill the innocent personally, he developed the policies and authorized the atrocities.  When you honor our modern Hitlers and Stalins and Pol Pots and Maus, you become a serious part of the problem. Please act like men, like shepherds who defend the sheep from the wolves and fathers who face death rather than let their children be slaughtered. Please, Your Excellencies, stop giving us stones and snakes when we ask for bread and fish!

Vatican Cardinal: ‘Individual bishops’, not just conferences must fight culture of death

Putting a Face on Abortion: Melissa Ohden

The Democratic convention begins next week and, if reports are accurate, defending abortion will be their centerpiece. Cecile Richards from Planned Parenthood Action Fund will speak along with Nancy Keenan from NARAL and randy law student Sandra Fluke who thinks taxpayers should fund her birth control while she travels around the world fornicating with her rich boyfriend. But it's actually appropriate for Fluke to appear at the convention. She fits right in. After all that rich boyfriend is the socialist son of a big Democrat contributor. And it isn't surprising to see Obama and co. trying to find something to take the country's eyes off his dismal record and refocus on (horrors!) Todd Akin's unfortunate comment. The tactic is likely to backfire, however, since voters may be reminded that Obama voted four times to deny basic medical care to babies who survive abortion. Here's one of them all grown up with a babe of her own. Thank God the nurse that rescued Melissa Ohden didn't share Obama's level of compassion.
