Sooooo...did you hear about the Met Gala Featuring Fashions "Inspired" by the Catholic Church?

These must have come from the collections of sex abusers. A pretty dress for the men who like to dress as women and a bondage mask to go with your S & M kit! Fr. James Martin was on board with this and attended the gala...as did Timothy Cardinal Dolan whose statement is after the break.

Question: Isn't this cultural appropriation? Why are the liberals not screaming about secularists and Cathlic haters dressing up Catholic? Remember how they attacked the mom of the little girl who dressed like a Geisha for a birthday tea? Once again the hypocrisy of the Left is front and center!

Note the bondage mask with the crosses and beads mimicking the rosary.

From Bazaar:
Cardinal Timothy Dolan attended the exhibit and gave a press conference explaining the church’s involvement.“You may be asking, what is the cardinal archbishop of New York doing here? I asked that when I was invited several months ago,’’ he joked.
“But think about it just for a moment," he continued. "It’s because the Church and the Catholic imagination—the theme of this exhibit—are all about three things: truth, goodness and beauty. That’s why we’re into things such as art, culture, music, literature and, yes, even fashion.’’ (More here...)
If this exhibit is about "truth, goodness and beauty" then rap and hip-hop are liturgical music! Maybe Catholic bookstores should carry the works of the Marquis de Sade. I think Cardinal Dolan is related to the Mad Hatter! One more scandal in his curriculum vitae.

Our Lady, Lily of the Valley and model of purity, intercede for all those clergymen who need to develop a sense of shame.

  1. It's quite the occasion when Piers Morgan makes more sense than a Cardinal. But then we are talking of Cardinal Dolan, aren't we?

  2. Has Cardinal Dolan lost his mind??? This is so outrageous ..... How on earth could he have said what he said? Can we start a protest directed to him? I'm sure many Catholics would like to sign their name. How sad and tragic this is. I don't know whether to cry or to laugh. Blessed Mother, please take care of us!

  5. By any chance, is there a list going around to protest against this horrible spectacle so that we can sign in solidarity? If there is, please spread the word. Thanks!!!
