For the First Time in Forever the Media is Paying Attention to the March for Life!

Prayer vigil at National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
I've marched at least 35 times since Roe v. Wade. Even in a blizzard when I had to hitchhike home because the Metro closed and the buses would only go as far as Old Town Alexandria. (I lived about four miles farther south.) And in all those years, I doubt we had a total of 45 minutes coverage. NEVER was there reporting ahead of the March and many years there was no coverage at all. The March wasn't newsworthy, they said, because we did it every year. Yeah right! Did that ever keep them from covering a radical group's protest -- the fact that they marched a year ago?

Everybody knew it was bias. And, if it weren't for Trump, there would be no coverage this year either. The shameless media is apparently not really immune to being called out and shamed.

So this year, they are covering the March. My husband and I saw an extended report the other night about the upcoming March. And with Vice President Mike Pence addressing the group tomorrow there will definitely be networks galore. Trump is calling out the media and he's a hard man to ignore. In an interview with ABC's David Muir, he challenged the lack of media coverage for the march. That question alone is going to change the dynamic tomorrow. Watch for the best coverage in the history of the March for Life. It's been a long time coming and it's about time. The babies deserve it!

And now a word to those pro-lifers who said it didn't matter who was elected. Do you have enough integrity to say you were wrong? John? Dale? Nancy? Lawrence? Admit it. Things don't change overnight and politics isn't the solution to cultural evils, but having good people at the top of government using the bully pulpit to advance good makes a difference.

Let's all pray for Donald Trump and his administration. God bless him for what he's done so far and may he have the support and intercession of Mary's legion of angels.

  1. It was one of the best matches Mary. And, as you know, I've been too some too. đŸ˜‡
