Facts and Questions about the COVID 19 Crisis: Will the Outcome be Worse than the Disease?

Is this you, looking at our dystopian society?
Do you feel like you're living in a dystopian novel? Do you wonder what the end game really is? Do the censorship and attacks on medical people who deviate from the official narrative concern you? What do you think the economic impact will be for the country as we go forward? Do all the unintended consequences of the lockdown worry you? Are you curious about why politicians are telling the medical profession how to treat a disease? Lots of questions! I'm sure you have some of your own.

Let's just look at a few random facts.

  • YouTube took down the videos by the two Bakersfield doctors who disagreed with the COVID 19 approach (which, by the way, are still available at the TV station? website which you can access from my original blog post). Why? Because two medical groups went after them. I find that interesting. Do you think those groups could possibly have a hidden agenda?Remember when the APA removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders? They continue to try to normalize adult/child sex. Is that about medicine and psychology or about politics and political correctness? Consider that the AMA (American Medical Association) supports abortion and that many pro-life doctors withdrew to form their own groups. Scientists disagree. In the best of all possible worlds, the disagreement is public, vigorous, respectful, and based on facts and the scientific method of discovery. Real scientists don't just shut down disagreement with ad hominem attacks. There was a time when blood-letting and unsanitary practices were standard medicine. Those like Louis Pasteur who disagreed were ridiculed and ostracized. Think about that when you see those who disagree with the WHO model being censored and attacked and ask yourself, "What's really going on here?"
  • More doctors, like the two in Bakersfield, are questioning what's going on. I recommend an article by Rod Dreher quoting from a Wyoming doctor's letter (anonymously) who was appalled at the censorship and shared some of his own experience with the unintended consequences of the lockdown.  "...for the last three weeks, my number of COVID patients has been absolutely dwarfed by the number of patients with acute anxiety, depression, wife beating, child beating, suicidal ideation, and any number of young grown men crying like babies on televisits or in my office. Large numbers of people are losing their livelihood, and they are freaking out. We are headed for a severe tragedy in this society, and its name is not COVID." This doctor points out that nothing in the original posts by Dr. Erickson and his associate was "...inflammatory.They were not instructing anyone to harm themselves. They were doing nothing but questioning the current narrative and the current recommendations from the authorities." And yet they were shut down. Why? Are we as a people willing to accept censorship from the likes of Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and other elitists who control massive empires that fit C.S. Lewis' description of the evil bureaucracy in That Hideous Strength? I'm not!
  • Now on to the economic impact. Pat Buchanan asks What Price Victory -- in the Coronavirus War? He calls it a "good and necessary war to kill the virus" but asks what the "deliberate decision to shut down the country and carpet-bomb our own economy, upon which we all depend, tell us about what we Americans value?" Can a country that sent hundreds of thousands into wars both here and around the world, a country that kills millions of its own children every year, really claim this is about caring for human life? (my question, not Buchanan's) I don't think so. The economic fallout is lining up to rival the Great Depression. Here are a few facts Buchanana cites and questions he asks. "Economists at J.P. Morgan are forecasting that the U.S. gross domestic product will fall by 40 percent this spring and unemployment will reach 20 percent of the labor force this month....How many millions of sick and elderly have we sent into solitary confinement? How many families have we forced into a daily struggle for the means to put food on the table and get medicine from the pharmacy?....The longer the shutdown continues, the broader, deeper, and more enduring the losses the country will sustain."
A last thought on this entire scenario. What I've found particularly troublesome is the lack of faith in many believing Catholics. I've had several conversations with people who are almost paralyzed in fear, won't go out of the house, have stopped going to our open Church altogether even at hours when the church is likely to be empty, wear masks in their own cars when they are by themselves, and practically throw things at you if they have to drop something off. What a way to live!

Prudence is a great virtue, but no matter how much we try to protect ourselves every one of us is going to die.

YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!

The day and hour of your death is in the hands of God alone. You cannot die of a stroke, heart disease, an accident, cancer, a medical misadventure, or even coronavirus without God's absolute or permissive will.

Do you believe that, Christian?

So why are you worried?

I understand fear among the young, especially parents. When I was diagnosed in 1986 with cancer, I had a two year old. I was terrified because of my own lack of faith and trust in God. Maybe that's why he allowed it. Suffering that experience (and many others) taught me a lot about trust in the last 35 years.

Now that I'm 73, I would be embarrassed to act like that woman I was in 1986. So, please, all you old folks out there who know and love our Savior, you rest in the hollow of His hand. We're vulnerable, not helpless in the face of the coronavirus. Be prudent and always ready to meet your Maker, but don't stop living.

We will continue to host brunch every Sunday for our local daughter and her family who are taking precautions and we also invite a young widow and her little girl who have become an integral part of our family. We will continue to urge our farther away children to visit without worrying about giving us the virus. I keep telling them, "If no one is sick, then come!" If I were going to die next week (maybe I will), I would want to spend my final days with my family, not hovering in fearful isolation.

May God hold us all in the hollow of His hand and protect us from some of the devil's most insidious temptations -- fear and discouragement!

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us!

Our Lady, Health of the Sick, pray for us!

St. Roch, patron against plagues, pray for us.

  1. I think the Covid19 disaster has been less about the Virus itself and more about setting the framework for what comes next.

We have been conditioned on a worldwide scale to fear the virus and fear our neighbors, our fellow human beings, as threats; things to be feared. We fear each other as possible vectors of death. We fear the economic consequences of collapse unless we can be safe as a “collective”.

We will see another virus this fall. It will likely be worse than Covid19, or at least framed as being worse. We have seen how bad it can be individually (even if not true, we believe it is true as a society) and collectively as an economy. Never Again, as they say.

And so ... the true threat is our coming government response. Inoculation. Certificates of compliance, aka Mark Of The Beast - our ticket to participate in society. Society will hate those who fail to comply, who put the the collective at risk of death and economic collapse which we remember from the spring of 2020. Take the vaccine. Get the Certificate (Mark) or face your neighbors’ wrath.

And what will be in the vaccine? Abortifacients. Babies. Those human beings offered up to Moloch as their most sacred sacramental. And who knows what else in the liquid they inject into our bodies. Bill Gates and his pals want this really, really badly.

The thought struck me that as with everything Satanic, the vaccine and the Mark is the precise opposite and inversion of God’s Kingdom. We receive God in Holy Eucharist. We receive Satan in vaccine containing remnants of aborted babies. The Crucifix is the Mark of a Christian. The Certificate is the Mark of a Luciferian.

Why is abortion so important to these people? Why must aborted babies be part of any vaccine of which we must all participate?

Rev 13: 16-18 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Rev 14: 9-10 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

  2. Interesting you should bring that up, Aqua. Some friends and I were talking last week about the mark of the beast and the chip. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with getting a chip, so what would make such a thing the "mark of the beast?" After everyone left, I began reflecting on the possibility of a mandatory vaccine. As you point out -- one made from the cell lines procured from murdered children. That indeed seems to me the likely mark of the beast -- making us all cooperators in the murder of the innocent. I will NEVER get such a vaccine no matter what! I think the time to "flee the cities" is here. Those in places like New York and L.A. will be most vulnerable to coercion. Those of us out in the country have at least a little protection, very little I'm afraid. God help us all!
