The Prophecies that Warn Us of a Coming "Destroyer." Is Francis the Fulfillment?

Are we seeing the fulfillment of prophecies? What do you think? Modernists like to discredit anything that offers a stumbling block to their agenda, especially prophecies that discredit their heroes. I offer two prophecies. One from Pope Pius XII before being raised to the chair of Peter and a second from St. Francis.

Michael Matt discusses these quotes in a 2017 article in The Remnant and also discusses their authenticity. There is no question of Pope Pius XII's statement and St. Francis' is very likely. Our Lady's testimony during the approved apparitions of LaSalette and Akita also foresee the serious assaults on the faith in our own day from within the Church herself.

Pray for Pope Francis and his fellow travelers, but resist them as St. Athanasius resisted the Arians. Let us read and meditate on these very serious prophesies.

"I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucy of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide that would be represented by the alteration of the faith, in her liturgy, her theology and her soul….

"I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, reject her ornaments and make her feel remorse for her historical past.  [This perfectly describes our modernist pope and the cardinals and bishops who echo his message of globalism and pantheistic environmentalism. The papal tiara was rejected by Pope Paul VI. Why? Because it was the symbol of Christ the King and His Lordship over the world. It had to go before the Lord of the World could come into his reign. Rejecting the churches "ornaments" was a rejection of the Church's glorious history. Dismantling our churches after Vatican II was part of the plan to destroy the faith because beauty leads one to God. Recognize the signs of the times!]
"A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, “Where have they taken Him?” (Pope Pius XII in 1931, then Msgr. Pacelli, Secretary of State for Pope Pius XI)
Florida is home to many ugly Catholic churches. This is in Jacksonville.

Dear St. Francis, whose feast my husband and I share (It's our wedding anniversary.), said this to his brother friars shortly before his death:

“Act bravely, my brethren; take courage and trust in the Lord. The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase. The devils will have unusual power; the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who obey the true Supreme Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal ears and perfect charity.
“At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavour to draw many into error and death. Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.

“There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God…. [Praise God for the Scripture, the unchanging doctrine of the Church, and Sacred Tradition. We cannot be led into error by novelties when we embrace the perennial truths of the Catholic Church taught over the millennia! Study the catechism, the Fathers of the Church, the messages of Fatima and other approved apparitions. Pray, especially to the angels and your patron saints who are wise guides, and test the spirits. Never believe a man in a roman collar who preaches novelties and acts like a circus barker during Mass. Search for the truth in all things.]

“Those who persevere in their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth…

“Some preachers will keep silent about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them, not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.” [paragraph breaks added]

I could have commented extensively on every line of these quotes pointing out how Pope Francis and the lavender mafia fulfill every jot and tittle of these dire prophecies -- and others as well.

Let us all dedicate ourselves to prayer and fasting for the preservation and protection of Holy Mother Church in these challenging times!

Blessed be God, now and forever!

St. Francis, pray for us.

  1. Our Lady of Fatima wanted the third secret "not to be opened until 1960 when it would be more clear". Possibly that was because she knew that Vatican II was going to begin in 1962. Instead of people theorizing about nuclear war to annihilate countries, worldwide Communism, etc maybe we need to think that she meant the annihilation of Tradition, Communism in the Church - especially the upper echelons and the papacy, and the catastrophic annihilation of the Catholic faith in the world.

Possibly the Third Secret was covered up because the hierarchy wanted to continue with Vatican II and the modernization of the Church...until now we literally see the annihilation of the Faith by the very person squatting on the Throne of Peter over at Santa Marta Boarding House...with Pachamama nearby in the garden....groaning and talking to Bergoglio...telling him her seven sorrows of climate change and whatnot.

  2. By continuing to participate in any Bogus Disordo, you yourself are participating in the destruction. Stop.

  3. Mary, I'm not posting your comment, but you really have no idea what I believe because most of what you wrote is untrue. Your presumption to read my mind and soul is head-shakingly arrogant. That's why I stopped reading your blog, trying to reason with you, and posting your comments. You continuously judge the state of my soul and the souls of others. Maybe you should focus on your own soul. I stand with 2000 years of Church history, Church doctrine, and Church Sacred Tradition. I'm not sure what you stand for except a claim to have a hotline to the Blessed Mother. Somehow I can't imagine her telling people they are going to hell if they don't jump on "your" bandwagon. As for God "giving us Pope Francis," he didn't. He "allowed" bad cardinals, including the St. Gallen's Mafia, to elect a bad pope -- not the first.

Keep praying for me as I will pray for you. Why don't you have a Mass said for me as I did for you. Think I'll arrange another.

  4. I think I am with Susan Matthiesen and am inclined to agree with the theory that the Third Secret (which I don't think we got in its entirety) is about Vatican II. It's hard to believe the Mother of God would not have had anything to say about Vatican II. And -- wandering in the weeds of speculation -- if she did talk about the Council, but did not cite it as the cause of the subsequent destruction, it would be hard to understand why John XXIII would not make it public in 1960, and why we didn't get the whole thing in 2000.
