As persecution against religion increases, will we respond like the early Christian martyrs? |
Can anyone with eyes not see the crisis in the Church? And can anyone doubt that when there is a crisis in the Church, there's a crisis in the secular world? What come first: the crisis in the Church or the crisis in the world. I think Pope Pius V (+1572) put it correctly. "All the evils of the world are due to lukewarm Catholics." What did Jesus say about the lukewarm? He promised to "vomit them out of my mouth."
Those are strong words to describe your lukewarm followers. France is burning and the violence against churches is increasing to an apocalyptic level. And it is spreading throughout Europe and the world. As persecution and anti-Christian hatred grows, we have the challenge of how we will respond. Study the early Christians under the Roman emperors for the answer.
What can the leaders of the Catholic Church possibly do with this epidemic of anti-Christian sentiment worldwide? Evidently (3-year-long-Synod on Synodality), they've decided to ignore it!

It's up to us, friends. https://t.co/rKzxeTqlZd
Only the Avignon popes were true popes. France is being punished for allowing the line of true popes to cease by allowing Satan's city, Rome, to steal the papacy.
ReplyDeleteFrance is being punished for a whole lot more than the “theft” by Rome of the papacy. Rejection of the consecration of France to the Sacred Heart by Louis XIV and refusal to place that Heart on the flag of France, the relinquishing and burning of Joan of Arc, who had saved France, the French Revolution and the cult of man, setting up lady Liberty in Notre Dame to replace God therein, the loss of their status as elder daughter of the Church due to lukewarmness, working on Sunday and blasphemy which Our Lady of LaSalette condemned, need I go on? I love France, I teach French and lived in France but she has condemned herself.

Re: "Only the Avignon popes were true popes."
There were no "true" popes before 1309 AD? There were also no "true" popes after 1376 AD?
Please note that during the Avignon Papacy Avignon was not part of France but of the Holy Roman Empire.
"The Avignon Papacy (French: Papauté d'Avignon) was the period from 1309 to 1376 during which seven successive popes resided in Avignon (at the time within the Kingdom of Arles, part of the Holy Roman Empire; now part of France) rather than in Rome." - Wiki
