(1) You believe the youth is mentally disturbed and should not be allowed to 'shake his junk' around females in a locker room and yet what have you done about females shaking their junk around the entire school, office, home, outdoors, movies, television, internet everywhere any male or female goes? Is not this female mentally disturbed to be posting signs reading "Women’s Rights," "Biological Women Only," and "SafeSport"? If men and women are equal--and they can only be equal if women are allowed to contracept/abort the natural function of their body which is to bear children--then everything else in your post naturally follows. Where would they be w/out abortion/contraception? The birth rate in the U.S. is 1.64 (2020). How many siblings, nieces, nephews, children and grand children do you have that are/have used contraception? DeleteI have noticed that some “conservative” voices I follow (used to follow) speak out against the transvestite evil, yet still refer to the person as their chosen dress-up pronoun.
To me, that tells me what the person really believes, beyond what they claim I believe.
There is no “gender” - social construct, infinite as the perverted human imagination. There is sex - male and female. God creates and decides, we do not.
Anyone who accepts the pervert language has also accepted the pervert rules and is thus a pervert themselves - regardless of what else they might say.

ReplyDeleteI find it hard to believe that God looks at any of his creatures as "monsters" even when they commit monstrous evils. A biological male is a man and a biological female is a woman. No matter what they do to their bodies, they cannot change their DNA. How do we call them to repentance? By calling them monsters?
In The Sound of Freedom, you can make a case for calling the drug lord a monster I suppose, or Bernard Nathanson who murdered 10,000 babies before he repented. I think we all want the salvation of souls, even the souls of "monsters." Think of the impact if Nancy Pelosi or George Soros publicly repented tomorrow and began working to defend life. If someone isn't dead, there is still hope of conversion.

Should the parents of these misguided souls call their children monsters? Is that what Mary did to Judas? I doubt it. I prefer to think of these poor deluded folks as my children or my brothers and sisters. I call out their sin, but I want to love them as Christ does. Does He not want the salvation of all His creatures? Of course, some will reject Him and He won't compel them, but even His punishment is both justice and mercy.

The judgement of the sinner actually can pass to the “preacher”, the Catholic, if they *can* warn the sinner but fail to do so.
“8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” (Ezekial 33: 7-19 for the rest of the prophecy).
And the way to warn the sinner is, as you said, like Christ, like John the Baptist, mercy toward the repentant, indignation toward the hard of heart … *there but for the grace of God go I*.
At the feet of Jesus, with Mary Magdalene, repentant and grateful, thus full of love from the depths of her heart … ”come, and see, the forgiveness and reward of Redemption in the Master” (I imagine her saying to sinners there).

One would be hard pressed to find a Catholic family today who would "disown" one of their members for say, divorcing and "remarrying" another, let alone for a sin "which cries out to heaven..". Peace at all costs. I'm thinking reading Brideshead Revisited would help a lot of Catholics.
What we're dealing with today are not your run of the mill, 16th century sins. They're far more diabolical and dangerous. Calling the mad scientists who do these things and what they create, monsters, is not uncharitable, but a mercy to wake people the heck up.
And because the "Church" is not strongly and forcefully standing against this and commanding Catholics to make reparations against this evil is reason number 1,008,563 that I am a sedevacantist.

God does not judge us primarily on our knowledge, but on our love - for God and for others … specific acts and demonstrations of Charity for specific people, the hardest ones to love are the most important ones to love.

DeleteI merely point out that it is essential that behind everything we do - that we are motivated at our core by Charity, flowing from the grace of God in our ongoing conversion (sanctification). Everything else - including knowledge - is like a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal (I Cor 13).
As for my reference to Scripture verses … I see it as a unique gift, one of which I am very proud that derived from a lifetime raised in the Protestant sect. Love of Scripture us a common theme as far back as I can remember to my earliest days of youth in various Church clubs and camps. Reading the Bible in Ba year started me on the path to conversion. Since conversion I have read the Bible in a Year multiple times. I do know my Bible. Scriptures come to mind randomly and I am thankful for it.
To be clear Mary Ann, I'm not at all advocating approaching some random "transgender" in the grocery store, shaking my fist at them and calling them monsters. Not at all. What I am advocating is the media, the "Church" and those in authority, like the priest I linked to, loudly and clearly labeling these people as monsters. As freaks. Calling transgender men, men when their outward appearance is female is confusing for children especially. And I would have zero problems telling a family member, God forbid, who was transgendering that they would become monsters, freaks If they went through with it. In his letter to the Romans St. Paul basically tells the pagans (those who have not heard of God) that they have no excuse because of creation and the law written in their hearts. Romans 1:20-21 and 2:12-16.
However, what we have in the Catholic Church today is those creating monsters (versus saints) and celebrating Halloween (versus all saints day). They are totally blind to the irony or maybe love the perversity of the Catholic elementary school sending monsters dashing through the neighborhood (world) in celebration of Halloween (the devil) and inviting all to join in as the school's largest fundraiser.

John the Baptist was in a society like ours where the Church (the other priests) refused to condemn Herod and Herodias (though they'd stone any other women who couldn't imprison them/ cut off their head). He went out into the desert. But how many of us continue to congregate in the Catholic Church with the sexually immoral?
