The Proverbial Excrement Hits the Fan and the Seamless Papal Garment!

Oh my! Leo has done it for sure this time. Even the traditional voices that have been 
defending him ad nauseum and ridiculing anyone who saw the writing on the wall are now coming out of their shells. Why? Because Leo dragged the seamless garment out of the closet to defend his wolfish friend Blase Cupich for giving Senator Dick Durbin a lifetime achievement award for his work on immigration.

Durbin, as any pro-life Catholic (I know that should be a redundancy, but sadly it's not.) can tell you, is an abortion advocate who is "personally opposed" but thinks others should be able to murder their unborn infants at will. Of course that's the Democrats' mantra. They aren't really pro-abortion; they are "pro-choice." Well, sometimes...They aren't pro-choice for those Americans living on the border facing first hand the violence of illegal invaders. The drug cartels kill a rancher? Hey, they weren't welcoming the stranger so they deserved it.

I heard about this disgraceful blasphemy, but had avoided watching it. After a friend sent me the video with her comments, I bit the bullet, prayed the St. Michael prayer, and pressed the play button.

Phillips and his promotion of all things "gay," like his shilling for homosexual propagandist James Martin.  He is as trustworthy as a snake. Let's pray there is a mongoose or two among his priests who are interested in protecting children! Words, Words Words: Semantic Gymnastics and the Liars' Lexicon

Word, words, words! They can be used to tell the truth and they can be used to lie. How do you use
words? That's a good question for our bishops, don't you think?

Some make words mean whatever they say they mean - like Humpty Dumpty in Alice and Wonderland. So child rape and abuse become "horseplay," "boundary violations," and "inappropriate behavior." Their word manipulation reminds me of Screwtape advising his "nephew" Wormwood. I can just hear the bishop's conversation with the diocesan lawyer, safe-touch coordinator, and communications director.

Bishop: We need a strategy for shifting the conversation away from homosexuality.
Lawyer: Keep talking about all the procedures in place for protecting children and how successful they are. We have the volunteers signing agreements making them mandatory reporters. If there's an incident we can blame it on them.
Com. Director: I'll stress the problem of clericalism with the press and emphasize how heroic your response has been to the crisis.

The persecution of good priests by the like of McCarrick and cronies is well established. My good friend Fr. James Haley was booted from the Arlington diocese for bringing proof of the homosexual depravity of priests in our diocese to former bishop Paul Loverde. Charges were drummed up against him and after being threatened by the bishop who told him, "You have no idea what I can do to you," was summarily dismissed and forcibly laicized and excommunicated. (At least that's what he was told. I don't think he ever received anything official which makes me wonder what his status really is.)

At any rate, I was on Mahound's blog this morning and it made me want to cry. Fr. Phillips has now been crucified by gay enabler Blase Cupich of Chicago.

Falsely accused traditional priest ousted by Cdl. Cupich appeals to canon law

Last March Fr. Frank Phillips CR, a traditional priest and pastor of St. John Cantius in Chicago, was informed by Cardinal Cupich that, despite being cleared of the charges against him for inappropriate relationships with adult men, he was permanently removed from ministry in the Archdiocese of Chicago. This move was no great surprise. Cardinal Cupich's antagonism toward the Tridentine form of the Mass is well known and long-standing. That he would take action against this priest and this parish is consistent with his past behavior. He leaped to judgment when the accusations came out, even informing the secular media. Talk about ruining a good man's reputation!

It's all over the Catholic blogosphere. Fr. Frank Phillips of the Canons Regular and pastor of traditional parish, St. John Cantius, has been removed (very publicly) for unspecified "credible allegations" of improper behavior with adult men. Is it true? Who knows at this point. It's under investigation.
