Praying to Satan? Ad for Adultery? Our Lady of Sorrows, Pray for Us!

No wonder the Blessed Mother weeps. The culture is in free-fall and there's no sign of it turning around. We are living the prophetic statement that there will come a day when good will be called evil (Those who stand up for life are labeled intolerant, etc.) and evil will be called good (perversion is a blessing). We need to make reparation for our own sins and the sins of the world. Our Lady of Sorrows, Intercede for our conversion.

Here are a few examples that show Satan is American Idol #1:

MSNBC

Remember the Calvin T-shirt, "Life is short, play hard." What do you think about the slogan, "Life is short, have an affair." MSNBC apparently approves and while I didn't think it was possible for them to sink any lower into the pit, they did. Last week, the network aired an ad promoting adultery. I am not kidding. The ad shows a man and woman in bed and the woman is snoring (could be me). The guy looks at her and then at the booze on the bedstand (Guess he needs it to make love with her). Anyway, he gets up and goes downstairs passing a very unflattering wedding photo at which he closes his eyes and sighs. We get the overvoice as he's walking down the stairs: "Most of us can recover from a one night stand with the wrong woman...but not when it's every night for the rest of our lives." Then it gives the pitch for the affair service. So much for wedding vows. If you want to watch this pathetic ad go here.

I checked out the ad site and was appalled to see that this is mainstream. The website shows a door hanger like the do-not-disturb signs at hotels. On it are the words "As seen on The View, Ellen, Dr. Phil, Larry King, Good Morning America." Affairs Guaranteed. But they assure you that they are discreet. Pathetic!

MTV AWARDS
Then there were the MTV Awards with Jack Black leading a prayer to Satan with the audience holding hands and repeating it.

How much longer will the Lord tolerate us? Maybe not long, but the Blessed Mother has always said that her children praying the rosary and doing penance as victim souls in reparation can withhold the wrath of God. Remember that Calvin T-Shirt? There's a Christian take-off that reads "Life is short, pray hard." We would do well to follow that advice.

Pray the Rosary! It's getting more evil by the day.
