The Plot Thickens....

Aw shucks...they were just making it more legible so the public could read it more easily. And anyone who says different must be a homophopic (oops, I mean a racist) bigot.

  1. So what are you suggesting?

All I have issued from the state of my birth is a certified computer statement. The actual document is in a book in the county health department, on a page with several others. I know this because when I went to get a copy, the clerk had to get out the book, look at the information, and then she manually entered it into a computer form. This sounds almost exactly like Hawaii's procedure. How could I have anything but a copy of my original birth certificate when it is in a large book with others?

So... what conclusions are you trying to draw by posting this video? That he was not born in Hawaii? I am confused by your motives, unless they are to spread malicious gossip. He is the valid, elected President of the United States. And my prediction is that he'll be re-elected in 2012.

if you read this blog consistently you would know that it is a not a Catholic blog but a political blog making a selective use of Cathlic teaching to advance a conservative political agenda. There are some fine conservative Catholic blogs and there are some fine conservative political blogs, but this one is neither

  3. Hi Jen,

I'm not "suggesting" anything and it certainly isn't gossip. I'm posting data that indicates the document was changed. Now whether it was simply "enhanced" for easier reading or whether the data in the document was altered is for experts to determine. But it strains credulity to think that Obama spent millions to avoid releasing this document.

There are also the factual discrepancies. The name of the hospital listed on the document was not its name in 1961. It changed later when it merged with another hospital. Kenya was known in 1961 as the British East Africa Protectorate and wasn't referred to as "Kenya" until 1963. Do you have a reasonable explanation for these discrepancies?

These are serious questions. If we have a president who is releasing a fraudulent document, the issue just got a lot bigger. Think Watergate.

I wonder if you were concerned at all with the fraudulent documents Dan Rather and CBS used to try to influence the 2004 election and defeat George Bush. I never liked Bush (or most establishment Republicans for that matter) but the liberal media bias against him was outrageous. The pro-Obama bias is equally so.

Obama promised the most open and transparent presidency in history, but has hidden almost every document from his past including his birth certificate, educational transcripts and medical records - items most other presidents release freely. His words and actions don't match.

Poor country where the President's main goals include taxes for child-killing Planned Parenthood and preventing us from drilling our own oil while subsidizing other countries' offshore projects. Oh...and attacking countries that haven't attacked us.

Funny, when Bush did it liberals were up in arms. Where is the outrage over Libya?

  4. Thanks for the chuckle, Anonymous. It all depends how you define "Catholic" doesn't it? There are self-professed "devout Catholics" like Nancy Pelosi who insist killing babies in the womb is allowed because conscience is king. Then there are the "Catholics" who insist that homosexual sodomy, fornication, divorce and remarriage without annulment, contraception, etc. are all perfectly fine for Catholics to "choose," all validated in the name of "conscience."

I suspect you are one of those, Anonymous. Hard to tell when you hide in the dark and throw darts. As for my Catholic faith, the teachings of the Church undergird everything I do and all my personal opinions. If anything on my blog is in conflict with the Catholic faith, I repudiate it!

  5. According to an official British website, in 1920 the East Africa Protectorate was turned into a colony and was renamed Kenya, for its highest mountain. It was referred to as Kenya in all the news broadcasts from when King George V died in 1936 and Elizabeth was visiting Kenya at the time. And the man who escorted her to dinner the night before she became queen was Sir Hearne, the Chief Justice of Kenya. So if it was commonly known as Kenya since 1920, why would it not be listed as Kenya in 1960?

And from the hospital's own website:
"A Century of Care for Hawaii’s Women and Children
This is the story of two hospitals: Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital and Kapi‘olani Maternity Home.
Concerned about the welfare of Hawaii’s mothers, Queen Kapi‘olani held luau and bazaars to raise the $8,000 needed to open Kapi‘olani Maternity Home in 1890. She endowed her legacy with “Kulia i ka nu‘u” or “Strive for the highest.”
In 1908, Albert and Emma Kauikeolani Wilcox donated $50,000 to start a children’s hospital. The community, concerned that two of every seven infants in Hawai‘i did not live to see their first birthday, rallied to match the Wilcox’s gift. A year later, Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital opened.
The two hospitals joined in 1978 to become Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children. Staying true to its mission, the non-profit hospital has played a vital role in the health of Hawaii’s women, children and adolescents. It is staffed with highly skilled, compassionate physicians and nurses, dedicated to providing the finest care for Hawaii’s families."

So, yes, I have reasonable FACTS for the TRUTHS on his CERTIFIED birth record.

  6. So the President's New Birth Certificate has the magical quality of being obviously true to anyone who isn't stupid or unfit for their post.

Sounds like some Emperor's new garments.
