Unbelievable! Fr. Pfleger is back in the pulpit at St. Sabina's

Ah....but he apologized...so all is forgiven. This is like the pope reinstating Martin Luther. Fr. Pfleger has been preaching a different gospel for years. Now who do you think is in charge in Chicgo? Cardinal George?

Cardinal restores Pfleger to St. Sabina

  1. What skeletons are in Cardinal George's closet that Pfleger knows about?

  2. Mary Ann, although I get disgusted with Fr. Pfleger's extreme behavior at times and have said so, I do agree with him on some things. There should never be a disproportionate number of liquor stores or gunshops in any ethnic group's neighborhood. It quite often leads to drunkeness and shootings. I am not against the right to own guns or drink alcohol, but I am against having too many of those stores in any particular neighborhood. Even most caucasians do not like too many in their neighborhoods, so we should practice the Golden Rule on that one.

  3. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Interesting thing about Fr. Pfleger, though. He never says one word about Planned Parenthood targeting poor minorities by locating abortion mills in their neighborhoods.

Blacks represent about 13% of the population. They have almost 40% of the abortions. It's genocidal. Abortion kills a lot more blacks than guns. Somehow liberals never say anything about that.

But many of them are in favor of population control. I can't count the number of times I've heard a liberal say "I would never have an abortion, but we need it for the poor in the third world. As if the poor love their children less than affluent liberals! And, of course the "third world" is codespeak for poor blacks. Liberals are tolerant of affluent, well-educated, liberal minorities. See how they treat people like Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, and Alan Keyes. And they call US bigots for opposing Obama's policies!

  4. Anonymous of 1:40, do you have any problem with Fr Pfleger's methods of reducing the number of gun shops (as though they were inherently evil, which they aren't)? I refer to his call to "snuff out" the owner of Chuck's Gun Shop; now there's inherent evil.

  5. It also occurs to me that those in the most dangerous places may appreciate having a way to defend themselves.

As for Pfleger, he preaches hate an class warfare which increases the likelihood of violence. Did you see his speech attacking Hillary? Wow! Talk about fomenting a race war.

  6. From Anonymous on May 22 at 1:40 p.m.: I agree with Mary Ann's post after mine, and Restore-DC-Catholicsm I do not agree with Fr. Pfleger's extreme method (using the term "snuffing out") for getting rid of gunshops. That is one of his extreme behaviors which I referred to when I said I do not agree with him and get disgusted at some of his methods. Never-the-less, drunkeness does contribute to abortion as we all know people misbehave when they use too much alcohol, so there should be no extreme amount of liquor stores in one neighborhood. Plenty of grocery stores carry alcohol too, so all city planners need to be sensible about zoning for businesses, and we should all cooperate in that, whether we are liguor store owners or not.
