Masks are "Utterly Useless!" says Cambridge virologist.

Cambridge virologist: Lockdowns and masks are 'greatest hoax ever'

'Utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians'

No doubt I will get blowback for printing this, with a few readers telling me (again) how everything I write about the Wuhan virus is my "opinion." Of course, I agree. It is my opinion -- based on the research I've done and the "opinions" of medical professionals like Dr. Hodkinson, the Frontline Doctors, and many other scientists, virologists, epidemiologists, etc.

Like every decision in life, we can choose the voices we believe are trustworthy and reliable. You can trust Dr. Fauci; I can trust Dr. Gold. You can trust Chis Cuomo and Don Lemon; I'll trust Rush and Tucker. You can trust Democrat tyrants like Gretchen Whitmer; I'll stick with Governor Kristi Noem. Your choice; my choice. It's interesting that the people who scream the loudest about choice only respect your choice to choose their choice. What else can one expect from Big Brother and the party of newspeak.

The Wuhan virus has been a political football since its release last December (deliberate release by the Chinese Communist Party?). It's been used to impact our national election and to manipulate the entire country.

Our political elitists, America's aristocrats, like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Lori Lightfoot, etc. along with their useful dupes in the media and big pharma (like Dr. Fauci) wear masks and social distance when it suits them and can be used to political advantage. But it's control they want and they will even threaten arrest and imprisonment for Americans who ignore the draconian measures they ignore for themselves and their friends.
Here are some takeouts from the article. The science simply does NOT backup the lockdowns and the mask mandates:
Hodkinson said masks "are utterly useless."
"There is no evidence base for their effectiveness, whatsoever," he said. "Paper masks and fabric masks are simply virtue signaling."...
Masks are not worn correctly most of the time, the physician said."I do want to emphasize that positive tests do not, underlined in neon, mean a clinical infection," he said.
"It's simply driving public hysteria, and all testing should stop unless you're presenting to hospital with some respiratory symptoms," said Hodkinson.
In August, the New York Times found in an analysis of data that up to 90% of people testing positive for COVID-19 carried barely any virus....
Hodkinson said "all that should be done" from a public policy standpoint "is to protect the vulnerable."
He recommended giving everyone in nursing homes 3000 to 5000 international units of Vitamin D everyday, "which has shown to radically reduce the likelihood of infection."
The survival rate for the virus is over 99.9%, 94% in the elderly. But to read social media you would think getting it is an automatic death sentence. Many people are terrified thanks to the constant mantra of "new cases" which seems designed to keep people afraid. The fact is that many of those "cases" have no symptoms, or test positive in one nostril and negative in the other, or on two simultaneous tests register both negative and positive, or show a goat and a pawpaw as positive.

Sensible precautions are always in order: good hygiene, staying home when sick, avoiding other sick people, taking supplements that boost the immune system, etc. But hysteria is useless. As for threatening people for getting together over the holidays.... I can only offer Ecclesiastes 1:15, my brother's gravestone epitaph. He often laughed at the idiocy that passed for politics in our society:
"The perverse are hard to be corrected, and the number of fools is infinite." (Ecclesiastes 1:15)
Ray would have had plenty to say about this election season and it would have been enlightening and entertaining! Please pray for us, Ray. We miss you. And join us in spirit on Thanksgiving with your incredible sense of humor and your wisdom. We'll remember you at the family rosary.
