What's Your Opinion of Trump? This Trump Executive Shares Hers and It's Touching

I confess that, despite my misgivings about Trump, a thought keeps popping into my head. Is he the Cyrus of our times? Cyrus was a pagan king, but it was he who allowed the return of the Jews from the Babylonian exile. He assisted in the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem providing money and materials.

Granted, Trump has a liberal background.  Yes, he can be crude and rude. Perhaps he is too plain-speaking.
Maybe he is really a fraud from start to finish. But I find it hard to believe he is a racist or a misogynist. And the vicious attacks from the left make me want to examine exactly why they hate him so much. Is it just an act?

Judging from this video (Is it just a PR stunt?), this black woman is impressed by the Trump family. She sounds impressive herself. Is she a shill? Are all the Trump supporters really as brainless as the "NeverTrump" gang thinks? I confess, I am somewhat baffled by the "NeverTrump" people. They've lived through eight years of the worst president in history, an obvious traitor. And they say "NeverTrump"? I don't get it. Letting Hillary win is a reasonable alternative?

Here's more about Lynne Patton. And watch this video below by a black cop from Tucson Arizona, Brandon Tatum. What do you think?

  1. I think that you can tell a lot by the establishment people who are against Trump as well as by the liberals who are against him. If he really is as bad as portrayed I don't think there would be so much opposition to him. The fact that Fr. Pavonne is supporting him as well as the Marjorie Dannenfelser, the head of the pro-life women's group Susan B. Anthony List should help to clarify what pro-lifers should do. We don't know if any of the other candidates would have made a beans worth of difference in the protection of the unborn. We have had almost a half century of establishment candidates who haven't managed to do anything. So even if Trump doesn't make things better I don't think he will make them worse. But he has promised to appoint a Supreme Court Justice like Scalia, that is more than Hillary will do.

I think Mr Trump has very much the same personality of a friend in NJ who emails you Maryanne.

  4. Hmmm...now that's a puzzle. I don't know whom you mean. Care to enlighten me?

  5. He seems to anger all the right people. That has to count for something. If the GOP establishment dislikes him so much, he must have good qualities.

Personally, my biggest concern is not what he says he'll do, but whether he will actually do it. But then, if he doesn't follow through that would just make him like every other politician, no worse.

  6. If he does a 25% of what he says he'll do it will be 100% better than what we have and 200% better than Hilary!

  7. Maggie Gallagher, whose been a real warrior for marriage, has a very good article on why she's not with the "Never Trump" crowd. She really nails what's driving some of those folks (it's economics).

  8. Wow. I can't believe this or these comments. He is not even remotely a decent human being. His viewpoint on women is so disturbing - he views them as nothing but sexual objects. His own words about what he thinks will "make America great" again remind me of Nazi Germany - and the policies he claims he will put in place are completely UN-American (religious litmus testing for immigrants, for one). Very disturbed. And in light of your recent post about marriage, I'm surprised the thrice-married, adulterer suits you. At least Hillary has stayed married to the same person. I honestly think she is the better and more moral choice.

  9. I agree...Wow!

Donald Trump is a Nazi? Did you see what those opposing him are doing? Blocking roads so people can't get to his events, engaging in violent confrontation with his supporters...and HE's a Nazi?

Absolutely, there should be a religious litmus test. Let in the persecuted Christians who are the beheading targets of ISIS. Let the persecuted Muslims go to Saudi Arabia or another Muslim country. They are not primarily a religion but a political system completely opposed to our Constitution.

And is that a joke about Hillary whose married to Bill the serial adulterer and rapist who is perfectly fine with killing babies even after birth? She's the "more moral choice?"

Wow! You need a reality check.

  10. Oh, I see. You actually agree with him. So, you agree with him when he says:

“You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young, and beautiful, piece of ass.”

“The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”

"The point is, you can never be too greedy."

“When these people walk in the room, they don’t say, ‘Oh, hello! How’s the weather? It’s so beautiful outside. Isn’t it lovely? How are the Yankees doing? Oh they’re doing wonderful. Great.’ [Asians] say, ‘We want deal!’”

I did not say that Donald Trump was a Nazi, I said that his "make America Great" rhetoric reminded me of Nazi Germany. I said that he's not a decent human being and his words prove it.

Article Six of the Constitution prohibits a religious test for those in public office - I wonder what Constitutional scholars would say about holding mere immigrants or citizens to a higher bar than those in office? Our nation was founded on religious freedom. Oh, and my favorite DT line:

“I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

That's just disgusting. But hey, it's a free country - vote your conscience. I know I will.

  12. Anonymous 10:47 and 12:26. What a hypocritical statement! Trump reminds you of Nazi Germany but you didn't call him one. I'm not going to justify myself to an anonymous hypocrite who obviously supports Hillary Clinton, the queen of the baby killers.

We don't even know yet who the nominees are, but the vicious attacks and name calling by the Trump haters make it hard for them to be anything but laughable when they posture as standing on the moral high ground.

    To me,
RE: the "disgusting comment" this just sounds like the proud father of a beautiful intelligent adult daughter!
But perhaps you do not have grown children?

The other quotes you posted I have never read or heard ,other than the statement concerning the fact that he is rich enough to fund his own primary campaign and thus, not have the donor payback debt hanging over his head when he gains Office.
    That IS a BEAUTIFUL THING!
Mr Trump has never condemned anyone's religion except when the said "religion" has a sect with the jihad mentality to kill others, labeling them heretics who deserve to be murdered in the name of Allah. These are NOT immigrants ,they are terrorists.

  14. You criticize the pope more than Trump. You lost my respect. Trump is a vile human being who is not remotely qualified to be a town mayor, let alone be capable of changing our country. The comments above about Nazis and such are a bit of a stretch but Trump empowers the racist bigots. He encourages violence. He says people need to stop being so nice. He's the disgusting pig. I can say that because I'm not running for president.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wow! Spoken like a liberal accustomed to using the term "pig". Is that your opinion of cops too? All racist, bigot pigs?

The pope is a shepherd of souls. When he confuses and misleads, he endangers the eternal salvation of the flock.

Trump is a politician who will probably be the Republican nominee. Am I happy about that? No. I voted for Cruz in the primary. But will I vote for Trump if he is the nominee? Yes. The next president will name hundreds of judges. I have no doubt what Hillary will do. Trump has said he will choose judges like Scalia. Can he be trusted? Doubtful. Can Hillary? Absolutely. She can be trusted to name the most pro-abortion, extremist judicial activists possible as well as advance gender ideology and open borders. No thanks.

As for losing your respect. I had a hard time to stop laughing. Thanks for the joke of the day.
