See Who's Supporting Gay Days Orlando

Here's a list of vendors supporting gay Orlando and Gay Days at Disney. (It started on the 28th and runs through June 3rd). I sure won't be visiting Macy's any time soon. And I never did like Bud Light -- one more reason not to drink it.

Can you imagine the poor clueless families who end up at Disney during gay days? All that money to see a bunch of grown men running around acting like teenagers in their red shirts daring anyone to look at them cross-eyed. Disney's gay days indicates more than anything that homosexuals are stuck in developmental immaturity. Think about it. How many real men, adult men, want to run off to an amusement park with  their buddies? It's just plain weird. And think of the poor maids at those Orlando hotels. It makes me shudder.

  1. Okay, so let me get this straight (hah)... your take on homosexuals is that they are less... of a man? And that a man who wishes to go to an amusement park to have fun with their friends is less of a man? Does this apply to lesbians as well? Are lesbians less of a woman for going to Disney World? Clearly you haven't been their, because that place is the epitome of fun. Not to mention -"think of the poor maids"? If you're going with the homophobic stereotypes of gay men (i.e, they are not "manly") wouldn't it be hypocritical to not embrace the stereotype that gay men are cleaner and fussier than "real men" and so would give no problem to maids at Orlando resorts because they would most likely clean up after themselves? It makes me shudder that a fellow Catholic such as yourself is so stuck in the ignorance and homophobic attitude of earlier centuries.

  2. "Florida Department of Health"

    ...that's funny.

    "Barefoot Wines"

...that's disappointing, good wine at a good price. No more for me. sigh.

  3. Are you serious, Anonymous? No, homosexuals aren't less manly. Most men like to cross dress, wear high heels and feather boas, put on false eyelashes, etc. Just look at the websites for gay pride events and tell me about homophobic "stereotypes" from the middle ages.

As for the maids, do I have to spell out the ramifications of anal/genital sex? http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/homosexuality/ho0075.html

  4. Wait a minute--I love to go to amusement parks with my buddies ride the roller coasters, the water slides, log jam rides, watch the kids have a good time, drink some beer--Disney World is a great place, but it isn't for my wife. she likes the opera and the ballet, so i go with my buddies and we have a great time. we are all in our 60's and I don't think there is anything weird about it. you've been stuck out in the hills too long, lady and living in the Reaganesque world of returning to the '50's fantasy of John Wayne and other gunslinging men who had forgotten the joy of just having a great time

  5. Anonymous at 12:51 am, Mary Ann is talking about the filthy bed sheets the maids have to take off and wash not the homosexuals's grooming or Kitchen habits. Some adult children of homosexuals have written about what they have had to experience concerning the filth sexual habits of their parents and their partners. She is not talking about chaste men with a homosexual orientation but practicing ones.

  6. To anonymous at 1:10 -- Whatever floats your boat, but I bet you and your buddies are in the minority. How many groups of men in their 60's do you see at Disney World? You can probably count them on one hand (except during gay days) unless they have grandkids in tow. Just sayin'.

  7. First time on your blog. Thanks, Mary Ann, for stating the obvious that some of your readers don't want to see... I don't see my husband (in his 60s) going with his "buddies" to Disney World. I would find it very weird.

  8. So what about people that can't have children and go with their friends? I suppose they are nasty too! As for bed sheets, just because someone is gay doesn't meant its about sex. So of you saw a group of men or women without kids at an amusement park it automaticalyeans they are gay. That is actually the funniest thing I have heard all day. My brother had his backelor party at Disney...oh so scary! What about people like you who are hetero? They don't mess the bed sheets either? You are so stuck in the 50's.

  9. Gay days aside, I think you are out of touch with the theme-park crowd. It's just like grown men go to sporting events and car races together. I work at a large Amusement Park in Ohio and we see tons of guys from their 20s to their 70s that come in groups to ride the coasters. Usually no kids. We also see lots of groups of women without kids. Now about the Gay Days; even the homosexual groups denounce the open PDAs there. Mostly it is for gay families and their children. You wouldn't judge the children, would you?

  10. Thanks for visiting, Benedicta. Guess I'm not the only 60 something who would find that behavior "weird."

Want to watch a John Wayne movie together or an old Ronald Reagan flick?

  11. Last time I was at a theme park (Busch Gardens) was about three years ago. I didn't see a single group of old geezers like me or my husband there. The old folks were all with their families. Maybe Ohio geezers are different from Virginia geezers.

All you anonymous trolls should go haunt some other blog. You can love someone without approving of their immoral behavior. In fact, those who encourage the sinful behavior of others don't love them at all. They are either companions in sin or they would rather tickle ears for their own comfort than help someone get to heaven.

Truth alert! Read Romans 1. Those committed to lust cannot go to heaven. It is one of the seven deadly sins.
