A Bishop with the Heart of a Lion

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco cares enough about his spiritual daughter, Nancy Pelosi, to ban her from Holy Communion in her home diocese. Nancy has lied for years about what a “devout Catholic” she is while she embraces sins that “cry to heaven for vengeance.”

It seems interesting to me that the bishop’s action comes at the same time as the leaked Alito draft on Roe v Wade. If abortion goes back to the states, the whole world will see who among our political leaders recognizes the sanctity of human life.

The same unmasking among our religious leaders will be obvious now. Will any of his fellow bishops have the courage to protect the sanctity of the Eucharist by refusing to allow the political cabal of child killing to continue committing sacrilege against Christ our King? Will Wilton Gregory impose canon 915 against Joe Biden? Will Bishop Barry Knestout enact it against Tim Kaine?

If the Alito draft holds in the final decision, we will essentially have slave states where babies in the womb are the property of their mothers to be disposed of at her will even to the point of death. And we will have free states that protect the little ones to at least some degree.

The same is true for the Body of Christ. Will Pelosi continue to weaponize the Eucharist making Jesus her personal political slave when she is in D.C. with the permission of Wilton Gregory? Will Joe Biden who attends Mass at Holy Trinity in Georgetown as well?

Will many bishops defend the sanctity of life and the sanctity of the Eucharist? Or will Archbishop Cordileone be one of a select group of lions surrounded by a pack of ravening wolves in miter and pectoral cross?

You will recognize the good dioceses by those who defend Christ and love their flock enough to warn them to repent before the Judgment. Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, et al are in danger of eternal damnation. It is an act of charity to call them to account before it’s too late.

  1. You said: " Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco cares enough about his spiritual daughter, Nancy Pelosi, to ban her from Holy Communion in her home diocese."

Which was my immediate reaction to this news as well. Accepted wisdom of fallen away Catholics is that letting everyone receive Jesus in Holy Communion, regardless to the state of their souls; whether mortal sin has rendered them spiritually dead, is the best mercy ("medicine", they like to call Our Lord) one can give to another as a Christian. To the extent the believe this, to the extent Boshops and Priests facilitate this, to that extent they participate in the sin of sacrelige with the illegal communicant and the danger to all their souls is dire.

What Arbp Cordileone has done is render Nancy Pelosi a spiritual service. She is rapidly approaching her eternal judgement, time grows very short for her. Her spiritual crimes are truly, darkly, magnificent. I tremble for what waits for her on the other side of earthly life. So does, evidently, her Archbishop.

Catholics have forgotten that Communion with God is a mutual participation: we go to God in penitence and humbly admit our sins and beg for forgiveness and redemption all over again; God comes to us and forgives us, cleans our souls and makes us fit for His presence within us; God communes with us in this holy spiritual state through Holy Eucharist - His body, blood, soul and divinity.

Only one who has lost belief would dare come to him spiritually dead. Only a Bishop and Priest who has lost belief would dare to participate in such a sacrelgious transaction.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matt 11: 28-30)

*And what is His yoke? Nothing less than the Cross leading to death to self at Calvary with our Lord*.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matt 16: 24-26)

The Eucharist is Manna from heaven - given to us direct from the angels. Treat Him with all reverence. Approach Him spiritually clean,

THANK YOU Arbp Cordileone, whose name means "Heart Of A Lion", for defending souls, the Church, and Our Lord.

  3. SF's gay parishes are still going full throttle. Priests continue to recommend sex changes. (Cordileone has been informed for years.)

A bishop and pastor should not be said to "enforce" or "enact" Canon 915. The correct verb is OBEY. Which means that what the vast majority of bishops are doing is DISOBEYING Canon 915.

Which is, each and every time, a mortal sin.

But don't worry! In "Catholics in Political Life," the bishops gave themselves permission to commit this mortal sin.

  4. Thanks for the clarification, Father. Yes, the USCCB is good at giving themselves a pass in just about everything. I'm curious. How much support does the Archbishop have from his priests? We are blessed in Arlington to have many, many faithful priests. They kept our former bishop, Paul Loverde, from doing as much damage as he could have. I wonder if Archbishop Cordileone has the opposite situation.

  5. Received via email

    Could not post following:

    Ms K:

The Archbishop's courage is impressive. So is yours. And all the other lay people who have held the line for decades. Thanks to all of you.

    God bless

  6. I just read that Arbp Cordileone is going to ordain an active, public, evangelistic sodomite as Deacon in his Diocese - one James DeWan.

    https://www.gloria.tv/post/fejyJNcK4i9P6TBGXUYxyQHGR

I felt the need to take back everything I said in my post above. I'm embarrassed that I said that publicly. It was said in ignorance of the true situation in the SFO diocese, under Arbp Cordileone, even though I should have known better. I spoke prematurely, with an excess of enthusiasm for at least one Bishop who was (seemingly) willing to do something ... anything ... Catholic. "A Catholic did a Catholic thing! Yaayyyy!"

James DeWan, sodomite "Deacon" to the SFO sodomites. "Oh".

After reading about this vile swish about to be ordained as a Deacon by this Apostle ... so discouraging ... but, also predictable.

We have a parallel Church. There is no other explanation for this. IF there are true, actual Catholic Bishops - where are they right now? I really don't see any.

Fr. VF (above) is correct, as usual.

  7. I was shocked when I heard this, Aqua. I'm thinking of writing an open letter. But first I want to do the research. How inconsistent -- to defend the baby from murder and the Eucharist from sacrilege and then ordain a man who champions a sin that cries to heaven for vengeance. Both abortion and same sex "marriage" are blatant attacks on the family. To recognize one as immoral and bless the other is schizophrenic to say the least.

  8. Mary Ann,
    Good idea, research.

I was convinced because the info came from Joseph Sciambra, who has certain credibility on such things, and posted by LifeSite which has a lot of credibility on such things. So much disinfo these days, however.

I duly note these shots are from 2016. But it seems to me such a one cannot possibly meet the criteria set forth by God (via the pen and inspiration of St Paul) in I Tim 3:8-13.

  9. One further observation ... one my wife and I have been discussing lately ... is the controversy over the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the picture of which is the focus of picture number one (he nailed the pose and look, that's for for sure).

One of many traditional Catholic discussions on the topic here -

    https://www.traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/f072_DivMercy.htm

Did not know it was condemned in detail by Pope John XXIII, her diary prohibited.

Interesting, at least to me, the photo of Divine Mercy (the condemnation referred, in general, to "mercy without justice" as the central error) and his imitation of the image s used by this profaner.

  10. Aqua, I can't find the LifeSiteNews article. Do you have a link? If they took it down I wonder why?

  11. I haven't been able to find out whether James DeWan was actually ordained. The archdiocese announced that ten men were being ordained, but only nine candidates were at the ordination Mass. Unfortunately, they did not announce the names. (At least not in the sections of the 2+ hour ordination ceremony I've watched so far.) So I'm wondering whether DeWan was actually ordained on Saturday. I'll call the chancery after the holiday and ask.

The text, cut and paste (if link doesn't work):

    - quote -

"San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone is going to ordain today James DeWan as a permanent deacon.

Joseph Sciambra, a healed homosexual, exposed DeWan's 2016 social media postings and saved screenshots (below).

DeWan was then already a candidate for the diaconate at the homosexualist Most Holy Redeemer Parish.

He wrote in June 2015 that “I personally do not understand why some people object so vehemently to same sex marriage, aka marriage. It doesn’t affect them one iota." And, "God is love, and that love is expressed in so many different ways.”

He added a picture of the Virgin Mary bedecked with colourful rosary beads given away every year by members of Most Holy Redeemer Parish at a parade of homosexuals.

DeWan also posted the picture of a shirtless man, who bears a resemblance to Christ, standing in front of a picture of Christ, with the caption: “Jesus takes a selfie; Say Crucifixion.”

According to Church documents, people who support homosexualism are not allowed to receive Holy Orders.

Cordileone is currently under massive attack – especially by homosexualist clergy – for banning Nancy Pelosi from Communion."

    - end quote -

The one photo worth mentioning (the others are just vile) is this one, in reference to The Divine Mercy comment above

  13. I saw that, Aqua, but was he in fact ordained? Ten candidates were announced; nine were ordained. Who was the missing candidate?

  14. Well .... hope springs eternal.

Perhaps Arbp Cordileone didn't know and acted once he did.
