Who is Ivy you ask? A Clinton operative who was appointed Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts during Bill Clinton’s second term. In his biography, Ivy is described as a "trustee of the Center for American Progress, and was a Team Leader in the Barack Obama presidential transition.” CAP is a far left political think tank established in 2003 to promote the progressive agenda and fuel the campaigns of liberals like Barack Obama and the Clintons. According to Source Watch, "individual [CAP] donors include George Soros, Peter Lewis, Steve Bing, and Herbert M. Sandler. The Center receives undisclosed sums from corporate donors" as well including WalMart.
So what did Bill Ivy write to John Podesta? You can read the entire email here, but the relevant portion is this:
And, as I've mentioned, we've all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands some serious, serious thinking -- and not just poll-driven, demographically-inspired messaging. This is what liberals think of the common man -- stupid, clueless, and kept that way quite deliberately by substituting real education with Planned Parenthood's condom-on-bananas and Heather Has Two Mommies child abuse. To liberals we are Pavlov's dogs who must be conditioned to act on our emotions and instincts (especially unrestrained sex) rather than use rational thought to make intelligent decisions. And it's working out well for the Democrats as they buy voters with "free" sex, "free" cell phones, promises of "free" college, and "free" health care all of which are driving hard-working, middle class workers to the poor house as they send good jobs overseas. Meanwhile, Democrats print more and more money to pretend we are economically solvent while we teeter on the brink of economic collapse, a collapse that is inevitable.
In a recent article, Donald DeMarco described his frustrating experience as a university professor teaching Philosophy to undergraduates whose ability to think has been damaged by their inability to look beyond singular ideas and make connections. In other words, like Pavlov's dogs they are conditioned to respond simplistically to ideas like choice. "It was both disappointing as well as astonishing to me, " DeMarco wrote, "that several students could not count to two!...These students held tenaciously to their preferred notion of philosophy, on in which a single, isolated idea (like "choice") was self-justifying. At that point I realized that a case was needed to expose the utter foolishness and unacceptability of the single idea masquerading as a unified philosophy."
How many in the electorate today are attached to their singular ideas formed with George Soros' and other elitists' big money and the educational abuse developed by John Dewey.
According to Alice von Hildebrand:
The gist of Dewey's thought is that there is no need for educating a child; he educates himself by following the bend of his wishes and tendencies. Should schools be abolished? No, they are there to help train a child to make money, to succeed. Training replaces educating. In this Dewey is perfectly consistent: Being an animal, all we can do is to help train him.and to make sure he is "unaware and compliant," easily manipulated by his liberal masters. Is it any wonder today that many millenials can't name a single one of the Founders or the major events of history, but know everything about Beyonce and Lady Gaga?
Liberalism is a catastrophic philosophy, one that treats man as an animal and relegates God to the ash heap. It is undeniably the Democrats moral compass, one that is demonic in its immorality, the same philosophy that sent many to the guillotine, the concentration camp, an the gulag. We need to do everything we can to derail it by prayer and sacrifice. Have you said your rosary today? Our Lady, Help of Christians, pray for us.
