Cover up Those WYD Girls with Fatima T-Shirts!

The downside to World Youth Day is the fulfillment of Mary's prophecy at Fatima:
“Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much.”
Make reparation for the sins of WYD. (And these were mild compared to the string bikinis.) Do you know the history of the bikini? When it was introduced in 1946, the designer couldn't get a model to wear it. He had to hire strippers. Now girls strip for free.

  1. Let us make REPARATION for these crimes.
Do these young girls not pay attention to the words of OUR LADY ...oh that's right they don't even know the Message of Fatima ...God help us all.
Have mercy on them Lord Jesus for they know what they are doing !

  2. Just for your information. I agree with what you posted defending modesty. Having said that, the beach remained open to tourists and local people during the event. Those girls pictured wearing bikinis were most likely not attending WYD. They just happened to be there. I was surprised myself when I saw the first images of WYD here in Buenos Aires and saw religious sisters walking the beach and several women in string bikinis just standing there. I asked around and I was told that the authorities did not have time to shut off the beach (one of the most popular in the world) because the event was originally planned to happen in some other place. I also would like to point out that --for Copacabana standards-- those bikinis are quite modest in comparison but of course they would be inadequate for women attending a Catholic event.
