Justice for Darryl: Where is Al Sharpton?

From the article:
On Thursday, July 11, police discovered the rotting body of 17-year-old Darryl Green, a black child from the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Green’s body was found behind a boarded-up house in the 6500-block of South Damen, face down on basement stairs. The body was so badly decomposed that originally, local news reports suggested that he had died of blunt force trauma. On Friday, an autopsy showed he had been shot to death. Relatives reported that Green had refused to join a gang at school.
Meanwhile, members of the media including Reverend Al Sharpton and Reverend Jesse Jackson focused on the “not guilty” verdict in [the Florida case]. The only media outlets that have covered the murder of Darryl Green areThe Chicago Sun-Times and ABC 7 Chicago. The New York Times’ Joe Nocera mentioned Green in passing in a blog post devoted to highlighting gun crimes across the country. President Obama has not commented on Green’s death. Neither have any other politicians, including local Congressmen Danny Davis and Bobby Rush, or Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Neither has anyone at MSNBC,CNN, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Reuters, or throughout the Hollywood community.
A kid probably killed by a gang...who cares? Just one more likely black on black crime that can't be used by Al Sharpton and the media to push their agenda. Remember Darryl Green in your prayers, a kid whose life and death don't matter to the high and mighty. Darryl might look like Obama's son if Obama had one, but he's no earthly use to Obama's political goals so the good kid from O's home town is invisible. Let him not be invisible to us. Pray for Darryl Green! And whenever somebody talks to you about Trayvon Martin ask if they've ever heard of Daryll Green.

Grant him eternal rest, O Lord, and give comfort to his family.

  2. And THIS justifies the murder of Trayvon Martin?

  3. Trayvon Martin was NOT murdered. He was killed in self-defense. You can keep repeating your personal mantra ad nauseum but a jury found George Zimmerman NOT GUILTY of murder.

  4. Concerning my last post, the white and other communities need to clean up their acts, too. Until we stop making heroes of men who cheat on their wives or women who cheat on their husbands, push abortion and every form of contraceptives -- and the birth control pill helps cause cancer in women and pollutes our water -- and degrade traditional marriage there will be no peace in this country either. Fatherless families are the main cause for all the chaos and Godlessness in this country, and some of our leaders have been the worst examples of it.

  6. If you believe that why posting this avalanche of non related news in order to justify the killing of unarmed teenager?

Not to talk aboutr your sudden unwavering belief in courts and their rulings?

  7. If you truly believe that the verdict was right, why this avalanche of excuses and distractions? This murder is no excuse for what happened to Trayvon Martin.

And since when have you had such high regard towards the courts and their decisions? After all, O J Simpson was also "innocent". Like Zimmerman.

Let us hope that you or any member of your family never face someone like Zimmerman on dark streets. But then you're white so you should ne alright.

  8. Trayvon Martin was shot to death. His killer was acquitted. TRhe message is clear: if you're white and kill a black man who will walk free. If you're black, you rot in prison for the rest of your life.
    ¨
And that is a fact. Had Martin klilled Zimmerman, Martin would have got death penalty in similar circumstances.

  9. Why the "avalanche" of attacks on George Zimmerman?

"if you're white and kill a black man who will walk free."

Nonsense! That may have been true 50 years ago. It isn't today. In fact, if a white kills a black it's a "hate crime." If a black kills a white like the four who murdered Joshua Chellew, it's almost never labeled a racial "hate crime." Erik Rush explains it as "negrophilia."

As Rush says the "hard left is driving the agenda" and "shepherding blacks" preventing an honest dialogue on race. I think he's right.

  10. Anonymous at 2:49,

Well that explains it. I was a little puzzled by your post, but I did not get the earlier one. I just checked my spam folder to see if it went in there by mistake, but no. If you want to repost please do.

  11. Mary Ann, I forgot all that I said in my first post, except that I felt this poor young man's murder was not so well known since race baiters like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and some white liberals could not make a buck off of it.

  12. Mary Anne, evidently my first post did not go through as I thought, and my repost of the first one did not either. I remember more of what I posted now. My first post was about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton race baiting and using it to make money being one of the reasons such news reports as the one you just posted did not make the major media very often. I said that that there would be no peace until the black community cleaned up its act, and stopped blaming everyone else, whites mainly, for so many of their problems.

  13. When Zimmerman called the police on his cell-phone to report on Trayvon Martin walking in his home-area, the police-man CLEARLY told him to "stay in your car", we'll take care of it. Zimmerman totally disregarded the policeman's advice and exited his car and began following Trayvon, instead of letting police do their job. A death of a young man would have been prevented if he had followed the policeman's orders. It's as simple as that!! "Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you, Save souls"!! amen.

  14. The dispatcher may have instigated Zimmerman to get out of his car since he asked him which way Trayvon was running. Here's more http://reason.com/blog/2013/06/24/police-dispatcher-testifies-that-george

He also testified that Zimmerman was calm and didn't seem on the verge of violence. Here's a link with the 911 call. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/03/20/george-zimmerman-s-911-call-before-trayvon-martin-s-death-audio.html

Trayvon would also be alive if he simply went home. Both men acted imprudently with tragic results, but Zimmerman did not commit murder which is why he was acquitted. Jesus, have mercy on the soul of Trayvon Martin. Little Jacinta of Fatima, zealous intercessor for sinners, pray for the repose of the soul of Trayvon.
