The only ladder worth climbing leads to heaven. Painting: Jacob's Dream by William Blake |
Have you ever wondered why, especially when
Our Lord Jesus teaches just the opposite?
Luke 14: 7-14
7
He told a parable to those who had been invited, noticing how they were choosing the places of honor at the table.
8
“When you are invited by someone to a wedding banquet, do not recline at table in the place of honor. A more distinguished guest than you may have been invited by him,
9
and the host who invited both of you may approach you and say, ‘Give your place to this man,’ and then you would proceed with embarrassment to take the lowest place.
10
Rather, when you are invited, go and take the lowest place so that when the host comes to you he may say, ‘My friend, move up to a higher position.’ Then you will enjoy the esteem of your companions at the table.
11
For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Then he said to the host who invited him, “When you hold a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors, in case they may invite you back and you have repayment.

13
Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
14
blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

Mark 10: 45
‘The Son of Man came to serve and not be
served; to give His life as a ransom for the many.”
Mark 9: 35
Then he sat down, called the Twelve, and said
to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he shall be the last of all and the
servant of all.”
What about these most Holy words of our Lord
do the climbers not understand? They are COMMANDMENTS not suggestions!
Nabi has heard many stories about clergymen
gone corrupt due to a lust for power. One such clergyman who came from somewhat
humble beginnings could not control himself from his lust for power and
control. Sadly, he pushed and clawed his way into a “powerful” position in the
Diocesan chain of command as the canon lawyer. He once sought a position at the
Vatican but his bishop refused to participate in his scheme. His primary lust
is for a magenta beanie cap. Unfortunately he has betrayed many now former
friends. What he has yet to learn is that such behavior costs, mentally,
emotionally, and most dangerously, spiritually.
Jesus said in Mark 8: 36
“What does it profit a man to gain the whole
world yet to lose his soul.”
As God’s Justice begins to rain down on the
house of cards that he has constructed for himself he is discovering:
- That the bad shepherd on whom he had “hitched his wagon” has been exposed, disgraced and removed. Many have come to recognize his guilt by association if not participation.
- His fellow My Lord’s are about to be flushed down the sewers of Judgment. And even though he held most of them in contempt, seeing himself as the only brilliant and worthy one among them, he is feeling quite lonely at this time.
- The conversion disorder which he manifests at times is a clear indication to those who understand such behavior as a sign of extreme, self-inflicted stress. His health has been compromised.
- His many lies and falsehoods have caught up with him and will do so even more as time goes on.
- His personal relationship with Jesus has become a feeling of lonely numbness within. He goes through the canonical and My Lordly motions but the people around him can see through his very thin ecclesiastical veneer.
- Since he has burned so many bridges he has no one to turn to who trusts him. And what a painful feeling it must be to know that his climbing, clawing and pushing efforts at advancement within the Church hierarchy have been nothing more than “vanities of vanities.”
So many of the climbing My Lords focus their
efforts on obtaining titles. They LUV many letters after their name: JD, VG, JVG, PhD, MA, STL, DD, EV….But never
+JMJ. Those three letters are not prestigious enough…
If our Holy Church is going to clean up the
corrupt mess amongst the hierarchy it must:
- Stop climbers from climbing. The only climbing should be for a servant to climb into the heart of Jesus by imitating Him and serving His people, especially the least.
- Stop allowing lustful men to pursue advanced degrees. One never needs a PhD to witness to Jesus.
- Stop bestowing bishop positions based on politics and a good ole boy reward system. ‘Who luvs Uncle Teddy” should never be the criteria for becoming a bishop.
- End the practice of bestowing the title Monsignor, My Lord. It is an honorific title, nothing more, which should only be imposed, if ever, at the committal service at the cemetery during the clergyman’s funeral.
- Get rid of, quickly, the political favor practice of bishops, cardinals and monsignors. The Church was given to us as Christ’s Body here on earth and for the salvation of His people. It is not the government. People who are called to be holy must do holy things and the leaders must never stoop to the level of filthy Good ole boy politics. Pastors, bishops and all leaders must be DISCERNED. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to speak His desires to us. What about that Truth do the Lavender princes not understand? Discernment must include all people of faith...those who would be called to serve AND those who are to be served by them.
Brace yourself. The revelations have only
begun. As the months and years go on and many more attorney generals conduct their
investigations into dioceses all around our country, we will see filth the eyes
of many have never seen. Pray to the Holy Spirit for courage and the wisdom to
know and understand that Judases are alive and active today. God triumphed over
evil in His Son’s day and He will always triumph. Stay tuned...
Trump for pope! He would clean house and fast. It would also be entertaining to hear the names he would give to bishops and cardinals as he cast them out....phony! fraud! liar! disgraceful! disaster!..and those are just the adjectives. In the past 2 days he called Stormy Daniels "Horseface" and Elizabeth Warren by her nickname "Pocahontas -the Bad Version" for the DNA test showing that she is not a "woman of color".
ReplyDeleteIf anyone wants to know the REAL President Trump read his Twitter page each day. You will be edified. Every day when he calls someone out I say, Yes! Go Trump! There are videos of his travels and the half of the American population supporting him, cheering him on.
Melania's Twitter is equally informative. She is lovely, graceful, intelligent. How DARE Jimmy Kimmel make fun of her English. HE does not speak 5 languages and if he spoke her native language I'm sure it would be with an accent.
Looking for Peter in the form of another Trump to clean out the filth in the Church.
The crowds whenever President Trump appears are HUGE - far more than even in the 2016 elections. Not an empty seat anywhere. Overflowing. Cheering. Enthusiastic. Happy. Hopeful.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile the crowds are dwindling down wherever Francis appears as people are more and more disgusted by his disastrous papacy.
