Nabi Sayeth: Christ is our King no Matter WHAT this Bishop "Favours"

Jesus Christ, King of the Universe,
Solemnity celebrated on Nov. 26
Editor's Comment: Do you ever want to say, "Just stick a sock in it!" when a silly cleric makes a stupid statement? I sure do! I will happily stand with Blessed Miguel Pro and proclaim, "Viva Cristo Rey! Long live Christ the King!"

Nabi Sayeth: I could not help but chuckle as I read an article written about an Archbishop from Australia:

“October 12, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Three days after posting on Twitter that he does not “want or have” Jesus as King, Brisbane Archbishop Coleridge broke his silence, clarifying that he does not “favour royalist ideologies.”

“I worship Jesus reigning from the Cross, whose ‘kingdom is not of this world’ and who ‘casts the mighty from their thrones’...I don’t favour royalist ideologies ‘of this world’ which make Christ remote, the Church triumphalist, the Pope and bishops princely etc.,” he tweeted on Oct. 10.”

Nabi thought: “And I don’t like Hollandaise sauce on my steamed asparagus!” I would like to inform this arrogant, misinformed cleric that most Catholics and non-Catholics could care less about what he “favours”! Faithful Catholics want to know what the Bible teaches, what the Catholic Church’s magisterial teaching has to say...not the personal opinion of some socialist sounding cleric from “down under”.

What does the Bible say about Christ as our King?

-Matthew 2:2: Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw His star* at its rising and have come to do Him homage.”

-John 18:33: So Pilate went back into the praetorium and summoned Jesus and said to Him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”
The three kings came to worship
the KING OF KINGS!
-John 1:49: Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God;* You are the King of Israel.”

-1 Timothy 6: 14-15: To keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ that the blessed and only ruler will make manifest at the proper time, the King of kings and Lord of lords

-Matthew 25:31-34: When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit upon His glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before Him. And He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on His left. Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

-Matthew 21:5: “Say to daughter Zion, ‘Behold, your king comes to you, meek and riding on an ass, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’”

-Hebrews 1:3: Who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and Who sustains all things by His mighty word. When He had accomplished purification from sins, He took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

-Hebrews 1:8: but of the Son: “Your throne, O God,* stands forever and ever; and a righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.

-Revelations 17:14: They will fight with the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and king of kings, and those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

-Revelations 19:16: He has a name written on his cloak and on his thigh, “King of kings and Lord of lords
Nabi Sayeth: There has been so much confusion amongst the laity in the Catholic faith due to the erroneous and distorted teachings of priests and bishops. People want Truth, not opinion. And when it comes to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,...well, we worked out what we believe about Him long, long ago. Our challenge is to LIVE what we say we believe, and that includes all bishops and priests.  -->
