Thought for Monday from Fr. Tom: Do Hormones Rule?

"Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Boston Public Library!
Hey, scandalize our kids with our tax dollars!
As long as a person gives higher priority to his hormonal orientation than to sacred discipline offered by God’s call to holiness, a compulsive urge to embrace the agenda of the Culture of Desecration and Death will dominate his life.

Witness how blasphemy, lust, greed, vulgarity, vitriol and violence have become normalized, and even normative, in the lives of those who allege that the arousal and appeasement of resentments and addictions should be the norm for authentic freedom.

Fr. Tom Collins

And as evidence that lust and vulgarity "have become normalized," check out the Boston Public Library's insanity. The library inflicted on children the perverted group, the "sisters of perpetual indulgence", i.e., drag queens who mock the Catholic Church, to read stories to preschoolers. Here's the announcement published by the library:

We're closing out #PrideMonth today at the Boston Public Library with a Drag Queen Story Time at the Children’s Library, Boston Public Library, featuring The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!
Posted by Boston Public Library on Thursday, June 29, 2017
Now think about that. You have a group whose entire shtick is mocking the Catholic Church and promoting same sex sodomy and other dangerous and perverted behaviors. They are not only allowed, but invited, into a publicly-funded institution where they advance their agenda on the most innocent members of society, preschool children. Can you imagine the library promoting a group that mocks Islam or Black Lives Matter or one that invites white supremacists for story hour? Hey, I'm sure they would be aghast if you suggested they invite STOPP (Stop Planned Parenthood) in to read stories that promote marriage and parenthood. This makes me wonder how many homosexuals are in the Boston library bureaucracy. Either that or they are simply idiots!

This is so totally outrageous that the library should hear about it. You can contact the "leadership team" by sending them an email today objecting to their scandalizing children and supporting a group that mocks the Catholic Church.

I wrote my email as president of the Catholic Media Coalition to the president of the Boston Public Library System. I urge all of our readers to take action on this. Here's what I sent:

Dear Mr. Leonard:

I was shocked to see the Boston Public Library inviting the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to host story hour for little children. You do realize, of course, that the entire shtick of this group is promoting and normalizing homosexual behavior (a serious threat to health) and mocking the Catholic Church. Their “vows” and the process of “becoming a sister” are a spoof on religious orders and the ridicule is magnified in their bizarre “habits” and “veils” as well as their names (Sister Rose of the Bloody Stains of the Sacred Robes of Jesus, Sister Shrouda Turina Tarpe Le Death aka Sister STD, etc.) and  often disgusting, fundraisers (“Project Nunway Sinfinity”).  That a publicly-funded institution would allow the mockery of the faith of millions is outrageous. How many of your patrons are Catholics?

I’m curious in the days ahead if the library will offer these events on the calendar:

Skinheads reading stories debunking the Holocaust

Groups ridiculing Mohammad, Martin Luther King, or Black Lives Matter

Pedophiles from NAMBLA (North America Man Boy Love Association) reading stories about adult/child sex

Zoophiles bringing in animals and reading stories that normalize bestiality

What you did amounts to child abuse. Normalizing homosexuality to children ignores the serious health consequences of the behavior. We warn children against the dangers of smoking and drugs; homosexual behavior is just as deadly.

In view of the political correctness of gender-identity, ignoring the health consequences of perverted sexual behavior isn’t surprising, and neither, it seems, is ridiculing Catholics. That remains the major approved bigotry of our culture. That the Boston Public Library would be an active participant in the bigotry is unacceptable.

You owe Catholics an apology and an assurance that nothing like this will happen in the future.

Sincerely,

Mary Ann Kreitzer
President, Catholic Media Coalition

  1. Great letter, Mary Ann. All public libraries are run by liberals so what else should decent people expect. Unless people stand up in outrage this will continue.

Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are all over the US (15-20 states?)as well as Germany, France, Switzerland, the UK, Scotland, Australia, Columbia and Uruguay. They are vile filth. Saw the Orlando SPIs at the Orlando pride parade a few years ago. Such evil wickedness.

When will people begin to fight back?

  2. I have found e-mailing is a waste of time as you just get faced with a wall of silence. The article below is about a Primary Catholic School in Southwark, London, UK about to introduce Gender-Neutral uniform in Sept. I have spent weeks ringing around and e-mailing and have NOT received one reply. They do not want to implicate themselves. All contact details are in the article.

As schools are due to break up in Sept.,uncontested this will go ahead and spread to ALL Catholics schools.
I e-mailed Cardinal Nichols charge of Catholic church in England but as per usual he NEVER replies. If the issue was about immigration or benefits he would be out there like a shot.
I think the only way forward is for faithful Catholics, not too many around,to group and demonstrate peacefully to highlight such evil agendas.
Any publicity you can give to this would be great.
Lifesitenews also has an article from Pediaticians calling this agenda evil

    God bless,

  3. Thanks for the comment, Jacinta, but somebody has to read it. Whether you get a response or not you've cast a pebble into the swamp and only God knows the ripple effect of that effort. If it's sent with the intercession of Our Lady and the saints there is no way it can be completely ineffective. So I will continue to respond and also encourage more direct activism as you suggest. "Pray and work" as the monks teach.
