Did Obama Really Win the Election?

Not likely. But don't expect the mainstream media to do any investigating. They helped him lie and cheat his way to victory!

Joseph Farah asks the tough questions

PHOENIX (Reuters) - An Arizona woman, in despair at the re-election of Democratic President Barack Obama, ran down her husband with the family car in suburban Phoenix on Saturday because he failed to vote in the election, police said on Monday.
Holly Solomon, 28, was arrested after running over husband Daniel Solomon following a wild chase that left him pinned underneath the vehicle.
Daniel Solomon, 36, was in critical condition at a local hospital

  2. Election night I asked our maid who is a devout Catholic—a Filipino who comes every morning to mass and communion and rosary with my husband and myself—how she could have voted for Obama. (She has a Obama sticker on her car.) Our pastor made it very clear the danger that Obama poses to the Church and the nation. She told me to look at the people at the Obama headquarters and she said that they looked like the people she knows. But the people at Romney headquarters looked like “people at one of your cocktail parties.” (My husband and I entertain frequently for his business and for my charity work). She said “they don’t have anything to offer me but a job—which I appreciate—but I want more for my daughters.” I have to say that she is making me think. People who are saying that the Republican Party must change have a point.

  3. I'm not sure what your point is, Anon 10:02. It isn't "hatred" to expose all the problems with the election. Unfortunately, the kind of tyranny we're moving toward is exactly what causes people to go nuts and do nutty things. If you can't effect change through legitimate means unstable folks who have no foundation on "the rock" are likely to take things into their own hands. You certainly don't see serious Christians shooting up movie theaters and flying planes into buildings. Nor do you see them getting flash mobs together to rob stores or engaging in random attacks against people to play the "knockout game."

JFK warned in 1962 that "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." If we can no longer trust the results at the ballot box, what happens next? I fear I will never see another fair election in my lifetime. When over 100% of a precinct votes in an election (always for godless liberals) something's seriously wrong!

  4. To Anon. 11:35. I've never had a maid and I've done child care and substitute teaching to help make ends meet. But would I still look like your "cocktail party friends" to your maid? What a tragedy for a "devout Catholic" to think a man who wages war on unborn women and campaigns on fornication and abortion can possibly create a better world for her daughters?

She needed to be down at the crisis pregnancy centers and outside the abortion mills to see the real conservatives, not the country club Republicans. Running on the social issues is a winning strategy but the Republicans are self-destructive. Let's face it...the mainstream in both parties care about nothing but money and power. And that's what's killing our country!

But by choosing the worst candidate, your Filipino maid not only put the moral lives of her daughters in peril, she guaranteed that many of those who have "nothing to offer [her] but a job" will no longer be able to offer even that. I wonder what she'll say then.

  5. I made up my mind after I saw photos of the conventions. Only one was a reflection of the current makeup of our nation. Yes, Obama really did win the election. If he managed to garner almost 40% of the vote in my ruby-red-Republican county, then I certainly believe he won the majority in the nation. Republicans are simply out of touch with reality.

  6. I don't think there was any need for you to put "devout Catholic" in quotation marks. The lady said her maid was a devout Catholic and it isn't up to you to denigrate the faith of a person just because you don't agree with them. Smacks a bit of the pharisee to me. Good thing you never have had a maid--you have a snotty attitude towards people whom you consider yourself better than

  7. I was quoting the woman's statement. But "devout Catholics" don't support politicians who advocate abortion, infanticide, sodomite "marriage," cannibalizing babies for their stem cells, the Planned Parenthood killing machine, and the use of government to squash Christians...especially when the shepherds were educating their flocks on these intrinsic evils. All Catholics who voted for Obama illustrated in spades how NON-devout they are. (And that's not to say they had to vote for Romney.)

As for my "snotty attitude" you seem to be doing pretty well on that score yourself -- as an anonymous poster of course.

  8. I looked at this thread and it seems to me that the notion that voting for people that look like you is a proper motivation is fundamentally racist.

Our political system has devolved into a system that places way too much emphasis on personalities and charisma and such and no longer on principles and policies and positions.

That's tragic really because it means we have fallen prey to the kind of thinking that brought on the third reich. Demagoguery has replaced reason and virtue has been replaced by expediency and the notion that someone else owes you a living despite your own failure to engage reality. It doesn't work. It never has. But noone seems to care that reliving the failure of the past will only produce a new failure.

Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is one of the definitions of insanity.
