Global Warming Scam Unraveling

E-mails show global warming scam scientists in panic:
“Where the heck is global warming?”

“Skeptics will be all over us – the world is really cooling, the models are no good."

“The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment, and it is a travesty that we can’t.”

"[global warming] data are surely wrong.”
“Our observing system is inadequate.”
Not to worry, the scammers always have Plan B. Now they predict global warming will return with a vengeance in 2020. (That gives them a little breathing room to revamp the hysteria.) Meanwhile, here in Woodstock, we are experiencing near record low temps, a refreshing cool August week with windows open and air conditioner off. Isn't it nice when Mother Nature helps you reduce your carbon footprint?

  1. You realize that global warming is not about highs and lows on a particular day, month or season, but an overall pattern of warming, right? How do you explain the retreat of the glaciers or the fact that the island nation of the Maldives and others could cease to exist in the not-too-distant future? I don't understand this denial of the fact that humans affect the climate of the planet or the resistance to trying to make changes that can limit greenhouse gasses and other things to keep things "green." Do you also resist recycling? Water conservation? Why? Just because people you think are 'liberal' tend to espouse these issues? Puzzling...

  2. Sigh...yes I understand that:

Unfortunately for the global warming alarmists there is no sustained pattern of warming except for flawed computer models. Global warming enthusiasts have never been able to explain the the Medieval warm period that lasted about 300 years and was followed by what's called the little ice age. There have been periods of warming and cooling since the earth began. Did man cause the Medieval warm period? There is no solid evidence that our activity does anything on a global scale or that the change is any more than normal fluctuations. We have not been following temperatures long enough to make these kind of judgments about global warming. As for the glaciers. The Asian glaciers are growing.

Where I live in Virginia was once covered by glaciers. Frankly, I'm glad the globe warmed up!

In my opinion this is all about whipping up hysteria because that's when you get money. It also gives you control. Think of having a power that lets you control people's lives down to the way they heat or cool their homes. But if you want to believe it, you have the freedom to do so.

And, yes, I recycle. So did my parents. We got milk in glass bottles that got sent back for washing and reusing. Come to think of it we recycled soda bottles. And we recycled paper bags into bookcovers for our schoolbooks. Oh yes and we used cloth diapers and when they got too ragged we used them to dust and wash the car. Recycling isn't exactly new and, in fact, today's recyclers are a joke compared to earlier generations who used everything until it wore out and then found another use for it.

  3. It's also about "population control". You know, get rid of those awful humans (google "eco-tumor"!) that are heating up the planet. That's the schtick to foist abortion and contraceptives upon people.

  4. Thanks for your sanity, Mary Ann. There are about 9000 of us PhD's in the US alone who have denounced the " AGW climate change" hoax. Give it another few years without substantial change and the whole thing will fade into oblivion, to rest along with the population bomb, DDT scare, the uv-skin cancer scare, and other "crises" invented by the Academo-tainment industry.
