So...the big question is...Who really is that man under the red hat?

Cardinal Dolan? Can you explain why you coddle the homosexual parishes in Manhattan?

What exactly is going on?

Why are St. Francis Xavier and St. Francis of Assisi allowed to promote the homosexual agenda and advance "gay pride?"

Aren't the bishops fighting the redefinition of marriage? Do you mean it?

Can the faithful get answers?

Anyone? Anyone?

Do we really need a comment when the facts speak for themselves?

"What was that, your eminence? Your actions spoke so loudly I couldn't hear your explanation."

I think Cardinal Dolan's behavior reflects how uncomfortable, really really uncomfortable, he is with traditional Church teaching about homosexuality. He prefers to silence old fashioned sermonizing about homosexuality, the kind that might be preached at a 110% traditional church like Holy Innocents.
He is also a fiercely loyal man to his brother priests as long as they do not upset his modernist applecart. This is evident with the kind and careful treatment of fallen Fr. Rembert Weakland and his clumsy, bile-driven overkill of Fr. Wylie.
Cardinal Dolan does not like Church tradition as it applies to non-traditional relationships. He is not to be crossed by priests under him. He is flattering and affable if you do not challenge. But woe to you who disagree with him. They shall either shut up or be shut down.

Sounds like a pretty accurate assessment, Mary. We sure need to pray for our Church leaders!
