Hahhahahahaha. I laughed through the entire video. The fools. Yeah - killing and scalping people is peaceful....you know, like the Indians did to each other - Cheyenne killing and scalping Apaches, Apaches killing and scalping Crees, etc.
They think the land is theirs? What on earth would they do with it? Seems to me they starved during the winters 300 years ago and froze to death. They want to go back to that?
Possibly they should try to live good and decent lives on their reservations by cleaning up the trash and debris thrown everywhere (trash isn't animal friendly, you know), stop the crime and drugs, etc., to prove that they are worthy of the land they once had but lost due to their own gross lack of cultural advancement.
Maybe the Catholic Church should pull out of all the Indian schools. Then Nathan Phillips could be the big chief leading his people to...to...to....what? I have no clue.
And let me make this very clear before someone gets the big idea to tell me I'm racist. My father, from South Dakota, was 1/8 Cree Indian. My mother was 1/4 Jewish. She would have been murdered in Germany had her family lived there during the Third Reich. I love Saint Kateri Tekakwitha and all the Indians martyred for their Catholic faith...savagely murdered by members of their own pagan Indian tribes.
So when did the American Indian tradition of "the land belongs to no one" turn into "this is all our land"? Certainly Indians had the concept of territory and protected the area they were living in, but now claiming the entire United States as their own? I don't think so.
"It was put here for us by the Great Spirit and we cannot sell it because it does not belong to us." --Crowfoot, chief of the Blackfeet, circa 1885
How is making a ton of noise just outside the door when mass is going on "showing respect to prayer"? Nonsense.
And this business of "Uncle Nate fighting overseas for us". What a crock. The guy was deployed to Nebraska and California as a refrigerator mechanic, went AWOL 3 times that are actually recorded, and left the USMC as an E-1 after 4 years which is a rank you normally keep for 6 months.
